Not at all scary but very interesting/fascinating history! Joe is so knowledgeable and a very engaging host. The best part was seeing parts of lively back alleyways and quiet historical neighborhoods the average tourist wouldn't know about on their own. Highly recommend!

The tour and the guide exceeded my expectations. It was very interesting, entertaining and fulfilling! We walked around some hidden gems, and learned about their history or some fun facts. The knowledge of the guide, his explanation and storytelling were professional, fun and made the tour very complete. The guide's insights are totally worth it, and are great if you're curious, or want fun facts and interesting perspective and excellent storytelling. I have been in Seoul for over a year now, and I have been around many places, but didn't know the hidden or interesting places. I recommend the tour even to those staying for a longer time, not only tourists. I also recommend having it early on in your travel or stay in Korea. Honestly, it would make a positive difference on how you interact and enjoy Seoul and Korea later on. I wish I had it earlier when I first came.

My partner and I really enjoyed the Seoul ghost tour. We found it to be very well-paced and a balanced mix of history and ghost lore. This tour was one of the best things we did on our trip to Seoul. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and entertaining and told some very scary and funny stories, and we got to see some parts of the city we would not have seen otherwise. We didn't see any ghosts but bought his comics at the end and would also recommend these!

We had a great time hearing ghost and urban stories while exploring the city at night. We discovered some places we probably wouldn't have come accross on our own. Shawn shared his passion for folklore and made each stories fun and interesting. We definetly recommend this tour!

Probably the best ghost tour we've done in any city

We had a great time doing this tour despite the on/off rain. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable about Korean history/folklore. He showed us around some areas we hadn't been to before which was awesome and we even got to see a portion of the Berlin wall in Seoul! The tour is QUITE long and he walks pretty fast! haha We had signed up for the extended portion but ended up bailing after the main portion ended because we were so tired and our feet had already been hurting from a ton of walking earlier in the day. Our guide also built in some rest times for drink/potty breaks but our group of visitors opted out of all but one of them. He was also really great at letting us re-book for the next night after we had a situation come up that prevented us from going the night we had originally booked which I very much appreciated it! Another couple was also allowed to add on the extended version of the tour while the tour was going on so it was nice to see how flexible he was! The only thing I wish he may have done was allow us to sit for some of the longer stories but then again it was raining the night we went so there wasn't any good places to do that and I think the fact my feet were hurting so much from a lot of walking earlier in the day also had me more tired than usual. I would highly recommend this tour or any tour with this guide as long as you are aware it's a lot of walking! haha
