Our guide Jung, was superb. He was knowledgeable and came well prepared with all the information needed to explain the history and persons involved in it. He explained things very clearly and made strategic stops along the way for breaks and to use his tablet to show images of a place before the current condition. Money well spent. Highly recommended.

Jungho is an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable and well prepared with stories of past presidents and photos of rooms we can't see. The pace is good . This tour gives us a better understanding of how the President office works. Highly recommended.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING tour! Jeongho is by far the most professional tour guide Ive experienced on this site. Extremely knowledge! The tour was intellectually and aesthetically stimulating! Learned more about Korean political history and symbolism. Also added to my prior knowledge of East Asian architecture and art by learning about Korea's tae on this particular style. He even recommended and dropped me off at a Michelin Restaurant afterwards! Overall, great tour!!!

A tour worth your while

Jungho was an amazing tour guide who took care in making sure each guest was taken care of throughout the tour. The weather was pretty warm and Jungho provided us with water to help us be more comfortable during the tour. He also provided clear instructions on when, where, and what time to arrive for our tour and what to expect on the tour. It was clear that Jungho was prepared and knowledgeable in providing guests visiting the blue house insight into a large part of South Korean history. This tour was truly a highlight of my trip. I hope others get the chance to be apart of this rare opportunity.

Fantastic tour

I highly recommend this tour with Jung. Right from the start he was professional and responsive. He gave clear instructions on where and when to meet, and the location was easy to find. The group was small which made the experience even better. He was knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions. He spent a lot of time explaining the history of the Blue House and all the Korean Presidents. The tour included the entire grounds open to the public and lasted close to 2 1/2 hours. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. When the tour was over we all were looking for a place to eat lunch. Not only did he make a fantastic recommendation, but he graciously walked us all there even though he had somewhere to be. No hesitation at all in recommending this tour with Jung.

If you enjoy walking and learning, I highly recommend this activity with Jung! I ended up being the only guest as another couple didn't show up. Jung was thorough in calling, texting, and waiting nearly 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time to give them a chance to join. Overall the tour experience was excellent -- a great mix of walking, sightseeing, and learning. He did a great job of educating me on the history of the Blue House, South Korean symbols, the current and past presidents, and more. Jung was even prepared with an iPad to show what was behind a couple closed doors. Zero language barrier issues, it was as easy to chat with Jung as a friend back in the USA. I also enjoyed Jung's guessing challenges along the way -- the mental exercise is probably even more fun with a small group. I hope Jung considers expanding his tours, because I'd really like to get the same style tour at the Gyeongbokgung Palace the next time I'm in Seoul. Time to stop reading and book this activity already. 😅

I chose to take this tour for my birthday. It was very informative. The tour guide was very easy to contact and extremely accommodating. The tour guide also works very hard to include everyone within the group by the time you’ve completed the tour, you all feel like friends!

Fabulous experience

Our tour guide Jungho was brilliant and very thorough in his explanation and took us through various aspects of Korean history and also kept the tour lively and interactive with fun facts and stories. He was patient with all our queries helpful with taking pictures to upkeep our memories of the visit and gave us time to relish every part of the tour. The visit and place itself is amazing and has surreal feel with its pristine gardens , magnificent architecture and stunning views. Worth the visit !!

We recently enjoyed a tour at The Blue House in Seoul guided by Jung, and it was fantastic. Jung's proactive communication made meeting up hassle-free, and his thoughtful touch of providing water was appreciated. Throughout the tour, Jung's historical insights, fun facts, and interactive quizzes kept us engaged and entertained. At the end, he surprised us with a very special and appreciated gift.
