    This tour was a good discussion of some of the difficulties Koreans face in modern society. Jessica was well spoken and insightful and had many startling statistics and examples of the challenges and causes. This is information you will not glean from typical tourist activities.

    Great walking tour. June was an energetic and funny tour guide that made the experience enjoyable. Lots was learnt about Korean culture and insights you would only get with a local. This tour is a must do.

    We were exposed to the Sourh Korea that is rarely discussed: the extreme competition in all strata, the overwhelming pressure on students, and the unreasonable cost of raising a family. Jessica, our tour guide, was excellent. She is the perfect guide for this tour, given that she sees things with Western lenses and feels things with her Korean emotions. Her English is flawless too.

    We loved Jessica on the night tour of Seoul and we wanted to give us a tour also in Gangnam, to learn more about the youth culture and daily life of young Koreans. Again it was an amazing tour, full of detailed information. Highly recommended tour.

    You will gain insight about the social/financial/education pressures facing the young people of South Korea. This is not necessarily a “sight seeing” tour of Gangnam. Jessica gives personal insight mixed with statistical data that paints a very bleak future for South Korea. What we came away from this tour is what has made South Korea what it is today is at the same time destroying it, mainly the young people. We brought our 16 y/o daughter on this tour as we hoped she would understand a different side of what she knows of Korea (think K Pop and K Drama). She was engaged/attentive for most of the tour.

    I really appreciated the insight into an everyday person's life in Korea, and the struggles they face. That said, for the price, I probably wouldn't go on this tour again. It was above the stated max participants, and generally felt slow/lacking in details.

    June is an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable, humorous and attentive to our needs. His smile shines as he speaks about his country, and although he pinpointed some negative sides of the Korean society, he acknowledges the hard work of previous generations to make South Korea the top developed country it is today. I value his opinions and feelings as a local who has experienced first hand the harsh education system and difficult job hunting. I am glad I decided to take this tour and look forward to going on the “Seoul moonlight walking tour with local historian” in Naksan Park. Thanks June and all the best !!!

    After having met at Gangnam Square, the famous area of Seoul, we had an walking tour with stops on interesting spots and informed about the challenges, goals, future life dreams, lifestyle of youth generation of nowdays in Korea. The tour ended by river Han, from where for those who wanted, we had a traditional lunch at a Korean restaurant.
