Booked this trip for seven of us for the afternoon trip. The guide,Phy, was very good and looked after the group very well. We visited during dry season so the fishing village on stilts was on dry land. Still, extremely interesting. Not sure about the offered trip into the mangrove swamp with loacal lady paddling - as soon as we were in the trees we were greeted by boats of other locals trying to sell us drinks and snacks.The lake, Tonle Sap was perfect setting for the sunset followed by the mad dash of all tourist boats racing to get back to dry land. All in all, worthwhile.

Obscurity of where the tour is going from

Did not get to do this tour as we were in South Korea at time of booking it was not clear that the tour was in Cambodia as we were looking to book tours in and around Seoul. It should have been apparent that our hotel was not in Cambodia. Feel that a refund should be forthcoming

We had a private Tour with Phy who was amazing. He took us to the local's Market which wasn't part of the actual tour but was really interesting. The tour itself was probably 1 of the best tours we did on our holiday. (we did a total of 12 tours) Initially we were turned off by bad reviews about visiting these Floating Villages but so glad that we decided to go & do it. I highly recommend it. We went just after the rainy season which I felt was a good time as the houses were still in the water but the road in the village was starting to reappear so it gave you an insight in to how they have to adapt according to season. The car we traveled in was immaculate & the driver was exceptional.

Worth a visit

Had half a day after visiting Angkor Temples. Prompt pickup at 8:30 and returned hotel around noon. The place is unique and definitiely worth a visit. The guide was quite enthusiastic and kept us engaged all through the travel.

The tour was quite good. Get to visit Kompong Phluk where we get to see how the people's daily life is like over there. Tonle Sap Lake is huge. The boat ride there was quite interesting. Tour guide is professional. We took the afternoon tour which ended late evening in Siem Reap City.

A wonderful relaxing trip from Siem Reap. One of the best trips in Cambodia with a small group that we have done. Very nice and knowledgeable tour guide Tommy. We learnt so much on that day about live on the Tonle Sap lake. Very enjoyable trip!!!

Der See war in seinen Ausmaßen sehr beeindruckend, genauso die Natur und Häuser der Dorfeinwohner. Wir hatten am Vortrag eine Dokumentation über den Tonle Sap gesehen. Ohne diese Informationen wären wir wohl enttäuscht gewesen, denn unser Tourguide hatte nicht so viel darüber zu erzählen. Kontakt zu den Einwohnern hatten wir leider auch nicht. Die Tour endete wesentlich früher und wir waren nach 3,5 Stunden bereits wieder im Hotel
