Rip off!

This tour is a rip off. The only thing he paid for, was the boat ride, which $28 USD. Everything else was free admission, that he literally dropped us off, and said find me when you’re done. Also, he said the pick up service is complimentary, after being told he couldn’t pick me up form my hotel. Even though I filled it out on Viator, and it accepted my hotel. He kept trying to get me to cancel my tour when he found out my hotel was close to the airport. I should have, because it wasn’t worth the money. The mer-lion and the fountain show, were free, and at the marina mall. The garden show was free, and the Clark quay boat ride can all be accessed by train. Save yourself $60..

So, your hotel's out by the airport, right? That's why we couldn't swing by. Simple geography, really. We offered the refund 'cause we knew we were dealing with a Karen, quite evidently by this review but definitely no refund now. Sorry the tour didn't live up to your sky high expectations, glad the hundreds of other guests don't share the same opinion as you. If you’re so good at planning tours such as which sites to go to and dont need the convenience of private transportation, why even book a tour in the first place? bro thinks private transportation and fuel is free in Singapore… But Thanks for the feedback, I guess.

Night tour feedback

Whilst we visited the key sites at night, we found this tour very impersonal….basically dropped off and told where to go and by what time to return…..no real engagement from the guide, felt more like a driver….. In contrast earlier that day we completed the Viator 4 hour bike tour (booked by Sally Faley). The bike tour, hosted by Holden, exceeded all expectations. It was fantastic, the passion for the country and key insights to its history and rise to fame provided by Holden was second to none….suggest you personalise the night tour along those lines….all participants on the night tour felt the same about that particular experience…. In terms of Holden, definitely needs to be bottled and shared…..what a fantastic, knowledgable guide….loved that experience!

Thanks for your feedback. We hear you about the tour feeling impersonal. Our night tour is more of a group thing, so it's tough to give that one-on-one experience. If you're after something more personalized, a private tour might be more up your alley. Glad to hear you had a blast with Holden on the bike tour. But yeah, comparing the two isn't really apples to apples. Our setup is different, catering to a larger crowd. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us.

Hi there, there’s no need to lie here, we both know the 45 minutes you claim is an extreme overreaction, otherwise you wouldnt have been able to catch the other attractions in the tour. The online banking system was down, which is how the guides normally make their payments. The guide took 15 minutes tops to withdraw the money from the atm to pay for the attraction, time in which you were given to take a look around clarke quay. This was even explained to you and the other guests which everyone else was fine with. Thank you for your feedback though, appreciate it

We liked and enjoyed (a) the River cruise, great commentary sharing Singapore history. And (b) the night light show in the gardens. What a wonderful use of modern technology. A wonderful tour guide in the Mercedes car made the evening so enjoyable.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Yeah, Singapore can get pretty toasty, especially in the evenings. Good call on bringing your own water - we don't provide it, but staying hydrated is key. So many of the beautiful parts of Singapore in the twilight and evening. This included an interesting boat ride through the Canals and river showing the old and the new side of Singapore. The driver picked us up at the cruise ship and dropped us off in front of the hotel, where the Singapore sling was invented. A larger bus picked us up and took us on the tour. The driver was informative, but not super friendly, which is why I give only four stars. There were supposed to be a light show that didn’t go off for technical reason but that’s not this company‘s fault.

A fun night with plenty to see. Guide was very knowledgeable and was always where he said he would be. Be prepared it’s still quite warm at night and there are a lot of people around, especially at the gardens where at one point was just a sea of bodies. Would recommend this especially if short on time

Ida picked us up on time from our hotel and then others were picked up it was a party of 10 altogether in a great air conditioned mini bus/van. Ida had a microphone she spoke well clearly and in English. She was very informative and caring towards us. It was a great way to see the night life of Singapore. .

Deceptive Advertising!

BEWARE: This is a GROUP tour in a 15+ passenger van. The website does not say this. Most of us who booked it were expecting a private tour. The 8:45 light show at the last stop was CANCELLED (in advance) by the facility, but we went there anyway. The guide should have known this. The guides (highly-accented) speech in the van was hard to understand in the back.

Hi, apparently you’re the only one that faced this issue, you dont have to make a PSA for other guests, they already know. I understand that its difficult for you to understand that a private tour wont cost nearly as cheap as this, you probably thought you were getting a sick private tour deal even though its clearly stated on the product that this was a shared group tour. I even personally messaged you of this before the tour, you couldve cancelled instead of partaking in it. None of our 100+ previous guests have made this misunderstanding but congratulations, you’re the first!! Secondly, we have no power to determine whether a show gets cancelled or not, furthermore it was a free entry show, and we offered you a replacement one at a later time which you turned down. Lastly, your racism is not appreciated here, our guides work tirelessly everyday, not for you to bring your expectations of your own country’s definition of an accent to our country. We have people of many different cultures here, and we have our own unique accents which again no one has had a problem with, you’re really ticking off the boxes of firsts!!!

Amazing evening tour

Had a amazing evening tour. Our guide, Adam, was very professional and made sure we were safe when exiting and entering the vehicle. Adam is very knowledgeable in Singapore's history and gave us plenty of time for photo opportunities and to take in the surroundings. The light and music show at Gardens By the Bay, was the highlight of the tour. Thank you, Adam for a great evening tour.
