What To Expect

Your tour begins at a central location, where you greet your guide and immediately immerse yourself in the spooky atmosphere of historic St. Augustine.

Following your costumed guide, stroll through the dimly lit streets to spots of reputed haunting: creep through two cemeteries, listening to spine-tingling tales of ghost sightings, and delve into the haunted history of the Old Fort and the city gates.

Your tour ends back at the original starting point.

History of afterlife in St. Augustine! Boy, woman, Elizabeth the girl, natives and soldiers. Pirates took over the city.

Hippie took us to some great haunted sites and shared stories about the lives of the people who now walk among the dead. He engaged the group so we didn't feel lectured at - it was an awesome time!

Hippie was an outstanding guide. He was very knowledgeable, but also comical and made the tour very interesting. Would recommend 10 out of 10. He was also very personable and open to questions and gave very detailed information. Overall, my wife and her parents and myself had a wonderful time.

Not only was it creepy/, it was also very informative. If you enjoy odd history you definitely should take this tour. It’s family friendly as long as your child is able to handle the topic of death. Our tour guide was Dion and he added flair and fun to our experience.

The guide, Madam Jennifer was amazing!!!!!! She was hilarious and so knowledgeable! I was pushing my friend in a wheelchair and she made sure we were ok and waited for us so that we could hear and see! She was a blessing and we will be back because of her!

Dion did a great job telling stories and including parts of the city’s history. His stories did not sound scripted and felt real. He seemed like a genuine story teller. I learned some new things about history and St. Augustine. He engaged the group and was animated yet calm. He did a really great job!

We went on the Tuesday night 8pm tour with Hippie and it was the best ghost tour I have been on. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain not only the history but how paranormal investigators would approach the haunting. It was a great learning experience and left us talking about it for the rest of the trip! Loved every second! He was amazing with every guest, no matter their age, and made it engaging for all! I would love for Hippie to be my guide on any future ghost tour I do around the world!

We’ve been on many ghost tours in different parts of the country and this was by far the best. The tour guide makes or breaks the experience and our guide Dion was cast for the part perfectly. From his Louisiana accent to his 19th century clothes he may have been an actual ghost giving the tour?

Awesome Calico Jack was great! He was super friendly and knowledgeable. We would do it again. We loved the tour route and going around the outside of the fort at night was pretty cool.
A unique take on St Augustine

Madame Jennifer was our guide and she was phenomenal. She shared many of her own personal stories and encounters with us as well as some of her own pictures. She took us all over the city and I swear our tour was almost two times as long as it was scheduled to be! I highly recommend this experience! My kids are 13, 15 and 18 and we were all interested the entire time.
