I love kayaking and have been to many different locations around the country, in the Caribbean, and Mexico, and this one was one of my favorite locations. I love that we were able to kayak the open waters and through mangrove tunnels. We were even able to stop at a beach and explore and collect shells. The tour guide was amazing as well. He was knowledgeable about the wildlife and a lot of fun. I would definitely do it again!

Taylor our guide was FABULOUS!!! She was so knowledgeable , kind, friendly, and really personable.!!!! It was my husband's 70th birthday, and Taylor helped make it extra special !!!!!

Taylor was an excellent guide. She was very informative and helpful throughout the entire excursion and took into account our specific needs. The excursion included open water kayaking as well as kayaking through mangrove tunnels and time on a beach to relax.

Unfortunately I didn't make it on time for the kayaking tour. I live in Central FL and I've been to the Fort DeSoto area several times, usually it takes an hour and a half to get to the location, therefore I left 2 1/2 hours early but the traffic and accidents prevented me from reaching the destination on time. I called the company an hour and 1/2 prior to departure to advise them my estimated time of arrival would be 10 minutes late. I didn't expect them to delay the trip but I did ask if it would be an option to reschedule due to unforseen circumstances. The guy stated NO and suggest I continue to come. When I arrived the group had already left. I completely understand the No refund policy but in certain circumstances you should offer rescheduling options. Life happens and we are not always in control. This company could care less. I would suggest booking your experience with someone else.

Eva we delayed the tour 20min for you, and you never showed up at all. If you are from FL then you should have planned for extra traffic given it was a holiday weekend. The out-of-town customers who did arrive on time (some from Orlando) were getting impatient with waiting on you, and we were not about to inconvenience them any further. Especially the risk of getting a 1-star review from customers that did show up and objected to a delayed start of the trip.
When you book a tour with us, we make a commitment to you that we will turn away any individual that want your seats, and your kayaks will be there and ready for you. Your obligation then is to show up, even if a little late. Once you break that commitment, we don't give people another opportunity to break that commitment again.

Alivia was our guide. Her knowledge of the flora and fauna we were traveling through really enriched our time together. We loved the double crested cormorants, who stayed right with each kayak the whole time. The mangroves were amazing - such an important example of how valuable wildlife can be to us.
We are 68 & 70, fit but not fitness buffs, and the trip was not too rigorous for us. Delightful afternoon.

Such a fun excursion. We were able to see all sorts of sea life and were able to take plenty of beautiful pictures through the mangrove tunnels and at shell key. I highly reccomend for couples and or medium to large groups!
