Overview

Explore the Lysefjord landscape in a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) on this tour from Stavanger. Zoom out into the harbor, then head for the outlying fjords, where you will pass close to the rock formations and other striking Norwegian scenery. Listen to your crew's commentary on the flora and fauna in the area while you travel. Extra-warm marine suits and dry bags will be provided to keep you and your belongings safe and dry.

We are docked at the large jetty in the central harbour. Please meet by the red boat house at Strandkaien. Our meeting point is about 5 minutes' walk from Stavanger's cruise terminal Please meet 15 minutes before departure.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Amazingly fun time!

Simon was an excellent guide who made the trip fun and educational. We have never done a rib boat tour before and the experience did not disappoint. A great way to see the fjords!

Fabulous RIB ride

Would highly recommed this trip. Our pilot was Eric and he was very informative and very funny. We had a great time riding the waves and listening to the music and taking in the fabulous views. It was well worth the money.

Brilliant value trip over the lysefjord on a great boat. All four almost 60yr olds absolutely loved it. Friendly staff with lovely smiles. Would do it again with this co in a heartbeat

Fab rib tour of the Fjord

Axel and Erik were great captains and hosts. Excellent tour. Would recommend booking with these guys as their rib has twin outboard motors whereas some of the others only have one and on the tour we were on one of the other one engine ribs broke down so ours and Erik’s picked up some of the passengers and the captain and took them back. You are given a thermal suit, goggles and gloves to wear. Great fun!

A fantastic RIB ride. Family of 3 and all really enjoyed it. Nearly 2 hours of fun on the fiords. Skipper was good too and took time to point out places of interest.

Incredible wind in the hair adrenaline ride, saw some incredible sites and had some super fast fun out on the water. Would defo not advise for someone with bad back or easily get sea sick can be a bit bumpy at times. But we loved every minute of it …

We had an amazing time our captain was outstanding. Super knowledgeable about the places we stopped taking the time to explain to us the history and answer any questions we had. Amazing pics and video from our trip. We did not get wet at all even though it rained on us we were warm and dry because of our suits. I recommend wearing shoes that can get wet though. Boat ride was not bad on my back or neck and I have had both spinal fusions and I was not sore at all. So much less bouncy and rough than expected. Totally worth the money.
