Chef and driver Jimmy prepared us great food and snacks during entire day. After visiting Sydney Fish Market and picking up some great seafood for the day. Jimmy prepared us breakfast at a beautiful riverside park and gave us sushi rolling class which we made with sushi grade salmon and bugs[slipper lobster] rice and veggies. Later we had them as part of our lunch. Wine Food Wine Fopd repeat. A wonderful day so educational and informative. Loved it

We had a great time on this tour! It was a full day about 12 hours and was rainy but it was a great activity for a rainy day. The food was fantastic, and paired perfectly with the wine! Jimmy was a lot of fun and this was a highlight of our trip to Sydney!

A unique food and wine touring Experience

It wasn’t just a wine tour. We went to the fish market where Jimmy picked up some seafood and a bug from the Lobster family. He cooked us breakfast tapas style in a lovely and gave us a hands on lesson in sushi making. We later enjoyed our own creations . At the three wineries he also prepared food for pairing with our wine tastings. This made the tour sensational and unique. I highly recommended this tour, you will not be disappointed!

This tour was an amazing experience. Jimmy was great and his food was delicious. He picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel. Very convenient! Hunter Valley is a little over two hours but Jimmy broke up the stops. We went to the fish market first to purchase some items that he was going to prepare for us, second stop was for him to cook breakfast for us and then on to the wineries.

This is definitely an unforgettable day trip I have joined so far. Jimmy has been an excellent guide for the tour, filling us with information and content about the places we visited, the food we had and about the Hunter Valley region. Highly recommended tour! This is not a typical wine tasting tour which I have been. The chef has curated the gourmet food menu to pair with the wine, making this such an awesome and perfect experience! Of course, the bunch of fun people who joined the tour also made this a memorable experience to me! I love the tour so much! 😍😍😍

Visit to Sydney Seafood Market and Jimmie’s delicious breakfast and late lunch were highlights. Jimmie is also a cordial, knowledgeable, and humorous tour guide. We only wish we were staying in Sydney long enough to take Jimmie’s new beaches and food tour.

Before I start my long winded overshare about how much I loved this tour, if you’re looking for the short and sweet here it is: book this tour! If you’ve only set aside one day for wine, just do this tour! You will have a wonderful authentically Australian experience! From the hotel pick up to drop off I felt well cared for, entertained, wined and dined! We started off at the fish market, and even though I had been before I learned so much more! After that we had a beautiful breakfast by the river outside of Sydney, there was an optional very short nature walk to the breakfast area and lovely views. Besides some fabulous birdwatching we got a yummy breakfast and a sushi making lesson. Our guide Jimmy made me laugh out loud several times, he’s such a wonderful chef, but also seems like a wonderful person. I usually hate being on tours and being herded here and there, but Jimmy was so kind and gentle with keeping us on schedule I hardly felt like I was on a tour at all! In fact it felt more like your very organized friend with a giant van decided to plan the loveliest day possible. Ok…back on track, the ride to Hunter Valley was longish, but between the stop for breakfast and the great commentary when something interesting came up it didn’t feel too bad. We visited 3 great wineries, and had food pairings at the last 2. The food was excellent, as good as anything you’ll get in Sydney. I know I’m just an internet lady, but I have had the good fortune to be able to visit lots of Michelin star restaurants, I can confidently say the food is up to par, and thoughtfully paired with the wine. Lots of good pairings and SEVERAL great pairings. All the wineries were happy to have us, everything felt well organized and orchestrated. My husband was working so I was traveling by myself and I truly felt well cared for! I was never bored, certainly never hungry, but definitely a little tipsy by the end! Please do go on this tour, you will enjoy it!

Great all day experience with Chef Jimmy ! Gourmet food, wine tasting & sightseeing, what more can there be ? Yummy breakfast of fresh fruit & breakfast sandwiches made @ our 1st stop in a beautiful little village park. Also, a hands on sushi making class with our own custom sushi roll to be eaten later with lunch. Sightseeing en route to 3 wineries in the Hunter Valley, Jimmy’s a great tour guide also ! Snacks @ each winery, followed by lunch @ the 3rd. It was a great day with great food, great wine & beautiful sights.

Where do I begin, an excellent all around event conducted by an expert chef and sightseeing tour master. We had a great time and went to three excellent wineries as well. Saw my first wild kangaroo at the first winery. We started at the world’s 3rd largest fish market. That in itself was worth the trip. We saw the auction floor and then roamed the expansive area looking at just about everything that comes out of the sea. Of course selections were made for later in the trip. To make it complete we were schooled in sushi making and performed the task ourselves. My wife and I are now sushi experts (well maybe not), but we are going to continue at home very soon on our own. Our guide Jimmy cooked along the way for us at the wineries producing excellent cuisine to pair with the fine wines we were sampling. I am not going to tell you the selections, you will need to experience that yourself. Thank you Jimmy for a wonderful outing/experience.

Five stars all day! What an excellent day with Chef Jimmy! So well organized, fantastic food, wonderful wines, beautiful views, great fun, so relaxing, and very informative. We could not have asked for anything better! Jimmy is a knowledgable guide, excellent driver, a great character and an amazing chef! He paired so many fabulous flavours so well with the different wines at three wineries. The short nature walk was beautiful and the breakfast that followed was delicious. Sushi rolling was fun and it's hard to beat fresh from the market seafood! What a fabulous way to spend the day! You will be disappointed if you don’t book with Jimmy!
