$85 is extremely reasonable to tour 3 sites that are hard to get to with public or city buses and cost a lot more with taxi. Tour guide is easy to understand and gives sufficient intro and background of each location Had a great time

Getting out of Taipei into the country side was the best part. Visiting serval locations was fun. Beautiful view of the town in the mountains and falls was enjoyable. Tour guide was very energetic and did a wonderful job of looking after us.

Jackie was so fun! He was very personable and made the tour super enjoyable. You can tell he's been doing this a long time and really knows how to accommodate travelers of all levels. The tour itself was really beautiful. Amazing sights and wonderful people met along the way. If you like to wander off and do your own thing or hang with a guide the whole time and get some background on the area, this tour makes it easy to do both.

I was looking to explore a different part of Taiwan and thought about taking public transportation but I browsed for a tour and so glad I found this one! Our tour guide "Jacky Chan" was very funny and told us we would be in for an eventful day. We went to Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen & Shifen. At Jiufen, the tour guide showed us all the cool stalls to get treats and the spirited away teahouse. My favorite part of the tour was the lantern release! Overall had a lot of fun, highly recommend this tour and "Jacky Chan".

This tour can make for a long day especially on a hot, humid day, but well worth it especially if you’re in a time crunch. This lets you fit in a lot of places in one day that are a little spread out. Our guide, Walter was very attentive and informative. Great value, would do it again in a heartbeat!

Great day trip during a layover!

I had a 30 hour layover and this was a great way to explore outside of Taipei! The tour guide Walter is great and provides some history at each sight. Youll spend about an 1 hour to 1 hour 1/2 and each site to explore. Highly recommend if you’re looking a for day trip that you don’t have to plan!

Wonderful day tour. Best part is the lantern 🏮 where we all wrote our wishes on a giant red lantern organised by the tour and then we watched it flying into the sky. My children enjoyed it so much and I felt such a joy when saw their smiles and laughters, letting their lantern go carrying their dreams… it was a very lovely and heartwarming feeling. A Fun and Hot Day Trip

Jackie was very informative. We learned the history and the story of each location beforehand which helped tremendously in connecting the experiences. We also like the combination of guided and free time at each location allowing us to roam on our own. The only downside was the heat and humidity, extremely uncomfortable. It would be nice if there were a small towels given to each guest.

Waterfalls, charming villages, beautiful scenery

The waterfalls at Shifen are beautiful, and the villages of Shifen and Pingxi are colorful and charming. Our guide, Mori, was great and the size of the tour group (7 guests) was perfect. The tour involved a lot of walking, which was fine. Just getting out of the city and seeing the beautiful countryside was a big attraction.

Efficient way to see multiple sites

Our guide, Tony, was very kind and personable. He made sure we all knew the plan and kept us on track all day. This was a good way to see many sights in just one day. I would have liked a little more time in Jiufen. There was only enough time for lunch. Not much time for a wander. But maybe that is ok. For me, because it was so hot, the day was a little long. I think I could have skipped the lantern ceremony at the end. The bus was comfortable with cup holders, AC, and charging ports.

Great places but might need a little more time

All the places visited were great and beautiful. At the first meeting point, the tour guide was not late but came too close to the meeting time. The tour program was a bit rush, but when comparing the distance with tour duration, it was acceptable.

I enjoyed this trip and would recommend it to someone visiting Taipei who is relatively short on time. The rock formations at Yehliu were quite stunning, Jiufen was an interesting town to spend a while in with nice restaurants and tea houses, and the waterfalls at Pingxi were well worth a visit. You could do all of these places independently, but would struggle to see them all in a day without being on a guided tour (unless you hired a car). I found this an enjoyable day, Jackie was an informative guide and the sights were good.

Great tour, pickuo a bit chaitic but sfter that ut all went great despite the mirning rain. Very varied and fun tour mixing 4 very different experiences. Laterns great fun, waterfull area beautiful( lots of steps) village fun and Geo Park quite amazibg.

It was ok.

This tour felt rushed. There were in our opinion too many stops and not enough time at the special locations. Our guide would tell us a time to be back but would find us 15-20 minutes before the meeting time and tell us to get on the bus. It was a rainy wet day, and maybe that is normal for that part of the area, but it really put a damper on the tour. Over all, it was an extremely long day, with too many stops and not enough time at any spot. The lanterns were magical, and would have really liked to spend more time there, the waterfall was just a waterfall and in our opinion could be skipped to allow more time at other spots.

Convenient and well run tour

This is a really good way to see all these places. which would be a pain to get to all on their own. Everything was organized and well run and we had a great tour guide, Walter. Walter gave us the right mix of narrating the tour and giving us time time to explore on our own.
