Wheelchair users need to bring their own folding wheelchairs, the vehicle is not able to accommodate power chairs.
Each guest is allowed to bring one piece of carry-on baggage.
If the group size is less than 7 people, your tour guide might also serve as the driver (driver-guide).
Ensure you carry enough cash with you to cover your expenses for meals, beverages, souvenirs, tips, etc. Convenience stores and most of the eateries in Taiwan don't accept credit cards as a form of payment.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great sites to visit on this tour with an informed guide

Visiting the Grand Hotel, the Temple and the Monument and surrounding area around it. The guide, Tony, provided context and history about the sites we visited. He was good. The driver drove very safely.

I had such an amazing time with Sharon! The other group members ended up no-show so I got an impromptu private tour😁 Sharon is highly knowledgeable and being someone who is very curious and passionate about history and culture, she was able to answer all of my questions in depth. Added bonus, Sharon is a great photographer OMG!! I got some of the best vacation pictures I’ve ever taken in my travel experience. This is one for the books! Thank you so much Sharon!! Must see landmarks in one day.

We had a wonderful time on this tour, and visited almost all of the worthy landmarks in Taipei. Our guide Tony was great, very knowledgable, patient, and attentive. He gave us good information on history and significance of each landmark. We will recommend this tour to anyone willing to learn and enjoy the culture and beauty of the city in one day.

Great way to see the city!

What an excellent way to see this beautiful city! Tony was a great tour guide, informative, friendly, and kept the group on time. The minibus was clean and comfortable. With only 11 people in the group it felt like a good size. The tour sees the highlights of Taipei and it’s worth doing. I only wish we had more time for the National Palace Museum (1 hour is not enough) and a bit less for lunch (1.5 hours was too much). The final stop is at Taipei 101 which you should go to the top of if it’s a clear day. Otherwise, on a rainy day you essentially have free time at the mall before heading back to the pickup location. Overall, this was a great way to see the city and I would recommend it!

Small group tour was worth it

Our tour guide Christina was great. She made us feel comfortable and taken care of. The changing of the guard was very memorable. Due to Chinese New Year, there were crowds everywhere but Christina expertly guided us through and would always wait for the group to be complete before moving on. We were able to cover a lot of sights that was perfect for first timers in Taipei like us.

Lots of interesting stops. Several temples, a walk around a neighborhood or two that was ok, and a visit to Taipei 101. Weather was ok for viewing from 101; would have liked to have a little more time in the 101 shopping area. Guide was knowledgeable, and the private tour was the best.

From start to finish this tour was wonderful. Both our guide and driver were informative, and planned out our day so that we could see all the highlights. Pacing was great. We saw all the highlights and some unique local places in one 8 hour day. We had a great time.

Very informative tour of the highlights of Taipei

Our Guide Christina was very nice and friendly. Even on free time, she walked around with us and showed us interesting things. She gave us a Guided Tour of The National Palace Museum, and knew the answer to absolutely every single question we asked her. She was very knowledgeable and personable. The small air-conditioned van was perfect for the three of us tourists.
