Overview

This organized nature day tour will take you to three of Guanacaste’s best sites in the Rincon de la Vieja National park You’ll have about a 2 mile walk with a naturalist guide in the National park with incredible wildlife, then get to Oropendola Waterfall for a swim in the blue pool below. After an included lunch, you’ll get to Rio Negro Hot Springs to relax in the thermal waters.

Losey tour operator - look elsewhere

If you want to spend four hours in a junker taxi with no suspension in rush hour traffic, just to get to the tour starting point and back take this trip. In addition there were so many people on the tour you couldn't hear the guide talking if you wanted to. The tour operator could have cared less about the circumstances.

You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing experience. Starts with. A 2 hr 2 mile hike. (Intermediate level. Lots of elevation change. We saw tons of monkeys and birds. Different eco systems. Very cool. The. A breathtaking waterfall. Lunch Hot springs and mud bath. The wife and I loved it.

Wonderful trip to the Volcano Park!

The guide we had on the nature hike and waterfall was excellent. We saw mud and hot springs around the volcano and got to swim in a secluded waterfall. Water was very cold but very therapeutic. We had a lunch buffet at the restaurant in the park and then went to the hot spring pools for more therapy. Wonderful Day!

Fantastic adventure.

Johnny was a fantastic tour guide for our hike pointing out different animals and plants. They provide a towel for swimming in the waterfall and hot springs so no need to pick your own. Waterfall water was about 68 degrees Fahrenheit so very cold but good way to cool off from the hike.
