Such a brilliant experience and an absolute must for anyone looking to experience authentic and beautiful Georgia. A wonderful day spent in the Kakhetsi Region of Georgia. Our guide Tstotne, from Traffic Travel LLC was referred to us by friends and we are so happy we took their recommendation to make use of his services. Tstotne's knowledge of the region and the various forms of wine making practised in the area were most insightful. The hospitality of the wine makers in the area is exceptional and sharing a meal at Salome's family winery was special. This tour is one where you arrive as guests but leave as friends. Highly recommended.

The best way to experience Kakheti wine

This tour delivered everything as promised, culture, food and of course wine! Our tour guide Shota did a fantastic job explaining the history and traditions of the region with wine and food tastings for our group. It’s a full day and you will drink a lot of wine! We could see at the first stop that the bread fresh from the oven and the cheese pairing was so delicious. The location of the first wine tasting was breathtaking and the wine itself was very good, plus the descriptions from the winemaker made it seem much more personal. The meal at our lunch stop was the best Georgian food we ate all week, very fresh and of course served with wine (and chacha). I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to sample and learn about the wines of Kakheti, how they are made, the different types of grapes, and what makes Georgian wine unique.

Beautiful Georgian wine country

This was the most memorable part of our visit to Georgia. The local wines are uniquely delicious, especially those made by the traditional qvevri method. We visited the largest winery in the region as well as some smaller producers. Our first stop was a roadside bakery where we enjoyed freshly baked bread and local cheese. Lunch was a very delicious homemade meal at the home of a beautiful and charming hostess. Kakcha, our guide for the tour, is an extremely knowledgeable and personable young man; also an excellent driver, which is important on the somewhat tricky roads. We have been on many tours around the world, and he was one of the best, if not THE best guide that we have ever had. Highly recommended!

This was definitly our best experience in Georgia. Shota was a fantastic host and showed us the real beauty of Georgian culture and loving passion of the Georgian wineculture. The wine tour is must do, we had an excellent time and Odo our guide made it fun, personal and overall an excellent experience. The first wine stop at Okroa is amazing, the red rose wine was a pleasant surprise. The second stop at query wines, personally is too commercial 🤨

One of the best tours can someone ask for. Our guide picked up on time from the hotel and the adventure began. The combination of places to see was great, from an organic winery to an amazing home lunch family to the biggest winery in Kakheti, not to mention the stops on our way for bread and cheese and some sweet… Our guide was so friendly and so helpful. Both our guide (George) and the driver were so friendly and accommodating. Our trip to Georgia would not have been the same without this experience. We especially enjoyed Okro's winery and the lunch! Otto was a very knowledgeable guide and we learnt a lot about Georgia's history, culture and politics throughout the day. Great selection of wineries and diverse wines to try from small family businesses to a larger commercial operation. Food options ok but lovely Georgian hospitality at every stop made it really special. Would definitely recommend.

Fine Georgian wine and hospitality

This tour was a wonderfully planned one, and we fully experienced Georgian hospitality. Our favorite memory was the family lunch - we truly felt welcome. The wine tastings were very generous, and the wines we tried were excellent. Highly recommend this trip. Our guide Tso did a superb job, and his extended tips on where to go and what to do in Tbilisi helped us plan the rest of our stay.

Oto (I hope that I spell his name correctly 😬) was the highlight of the tour. He was impressively knowledgeable about Georgia and its people, culture and history. So, it was a pleasant journey talking to him not only about food and wine and the location but much beyond. Shops, wineries and the restaurant he picked for lunch were all allowed us to try an authenticate taste of Georgian food, wine and hospitality. Very much recommended!

Excellent experience of a wine tasting day and georgian history. Lunch on a local family was amazing. Very nice and friendly family. The barbecue was amazing as well as the wine. The guide Alexander Giorgidze became a good friend. 100/100.
