  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Departure place: Thessaloniki Train Station , please be there at least 30 min before the departure of the train at 08:56 am
  • Appropriate clothing for everyone is required to enter the monasteries. For ladies skirts by the knee or longer are required. No pants for ladies, no shorts, no sleeveless shirt. For men sleeveless clothing and shorts over the knee are prohibited.
  • Stroller accessible
  • Service animals allowed
  • Supplier is not responsible for any train delays that might affect the duration of the tour. Your guide and minivan will be waiting for you at Kalambaka train station and are guaranteed to return you to the station in time to catch your return train to Athens
  • Your train tickets are e-tickets and will be sent to your email 3 days before the trip or immediately if it is a last minute reservation. It is not necessary to print the train tickets you can just have them on your phone.
  • Near public transportation
  • Infants must sit on laps
  • Meeting point: Kalabaka Train Station (we will hold a sign with your name)

This tour is a must-do when in Thessaloniki! The 3-hour train trip to and from Meteora is tiring but worth it! Dimitris was a helpful guide who gave us the chance to enjoy 3 monasteries - the views are amazing!

Terrible. Cancelaron el tren y aseguraron que podría hacerlo en bus. Unas horas antes de la salida, avisaban q se cancelaba tambien. Y veremos q pasa con la restitución de lo pagado
Tour des Météores en train : balade férroviaire à recommander

De Thessalonique, je recommande de visiter le site des Météores en train. Le rythme ferroviaire vous invite à découvrir une portion du territoire rural et semi-rural grec, mais également le train régional. C'est un mélange entre "l'ancien" (pas de panneau d'information concernant le passage des trains dans les gares, sauf à Thessalonique) et "le moderne" (gare moderne de Thessalonique). Concernant l'opérateur local Météora Thrones, il a été professionnel (guide et conducteur). La journée a été agréable et dépaysante, y compris sur un plan géologique, religieux et historique.
