You must adhere to Japanese traffic rules and follow the guide's instructions.
Our bicycles are suitable for heights betwee.n 155 cm and 195 cm
Tour participants should be proficient in cycling on pavements, cross traffic lights confidently, and through crowded/tight spaces.
We will be traveling at approximately 15 kilometers per hour. Participants are expected to ride their bicycles at this speed and to do so confidently. 15 kilometers per hour is a typical cycling speed.
For groups of 4 or more participants, please contact the organizer directly.
The tour will proceed in light rain, but it may be canceled due to sudden weather changes.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 4 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We had a wonderful experience with Tai Chi exploring many back streets, parks and hidden gems, which we would have never uncovered and experienced by ourselves. He was informative and easy to understand. He even customized the tour slightly as we had already visited Shibuya crossing. This was an outstanding bike tour which I would highly recommend.

Ikeda’s cycling tour was absolutely the best tour guide we had in Japan. We so appreciated the teaching and instructions of local bike courtesy and riding in Japan. He knew the area so well and was able to take alternative routes as needed. His awareness of us following and hand directions/signaling were remarkable. Best of all, the highlights of each area we stopped and told about were of all interests level: young, older, youth, readers, sports enthusiasts, local history and hidden gems. I was concerned about my ability since I’m a leisure/nice weather bicyclist; his route was very doable and fun. Ikeda’s bike tour is truly a hidden gem!

Great Ride on Sunny Saturday

Great ride with Taichi. Very glad he kept this trip when I was the only customer on a nice sunny Saturday between a bunch of cold rainy days in late February. He showed me the sights, gave me tips on riding and renting bikes in Tokyo, and help with simple Japanese phrases.

Honestly, the best way to see Tokyo! Taichi was super knowledgeable and made the tour both fascinating and fun. We also felt very safe as he knew the best routes and small streets to cycle on and even took lovely pictures for us and recommended great spots. 100% recommend this experience!

Great tour - feel like a local

This tour was honestly incredibly fun. Taichi guides you through the some of Tokyo’s neighbourhood and gives you insights only a local would know. I hadn’t rode a bike since childhood, but Taichi puts you at ease with his great directions and maximum use of side streets. I never felt uneasy. You will not regret taking this tour.

We would highly recommend the bike tour with Taichi 太一. He was very kind and knowledgeable and ensured our safety in busy areas. He took us all around to popular places, shared his temple with us and best of all he took photos of us (even one at Shibuya Crossing) that we will be able to cherish long after the ride.

Taichi was a great guide who knows Tokyo well and took me to some cool neighborhoods as well as some historic and gritty areas. The ride pace was perfect and since I was the only one on the tour, he took me to a special place (an old comedy club) since I do standup comedy on the side. The bike is not the nicest but with smaller wheels, it's quite maneuverable. If you want to go on this tour, you should be comfortable riding on roads. I never felt unsafe. Great tour and I highly recommend it!

Fun way to see Tokyo on bikes

Our guide Taichi was fantastic. Even though Tokyo is a busy city, he was able to take us around the busy districts through smaller alleys and we felt safe the entire tour. The bikes are good quality, and it was a nice way bike around Shibuya, Harajuku, Yoyogi park, and Aoyama cemebery. We are a family of four with two teenagers. Highly recommend the tour.

Communication with our guide was very easy and we met up at the agreed time with no issues. His name was Taichi and throughout the tour he explained so much about Tokyo and the places we visited. The bikes were very light and easy to ride. We felt very safe under his stewardship. Very interesting and enjoyable 3 hours. Would certainly recommend this tour

I’ve tried to do a bike tour every time in out of the country and this tour in Tokyo with Taichi was a home run. I’ve been to Tokyo over a dozen times but my buddy who came with me was a first timer so I suggested the bike tour. Such a great time! Bike life is way better than subway/taxi life! Saw so much more of the country. Taichi is a great guide.

The cycle ride with Ikeda was excellent. We cycled around several interesting neighbourhoods and parks using quiet safe roads. It really gave us an insight into modern Tokyo and how the city ticks. Highly recommended - lovely guide.

I got to bike through Yoyogi, Harajuku, Shibuya, Minato, and Shinjuku. Biking in Tokyo is great, but I think it would take a while to learn which roads are good for biking, which the guide knows. He spoke good English and I learned a lot about the local lore and culture.

Amazing hidden gem private tour

This was one of the highlights of our trip. We saw many hidden gems of Tokyo. We rode by shibuya crossing, a cemetery, local shrine with a mini Mount Fuji, and so much more. At the end of the tour our guide showed us a local ramen restaurant and helped us order. He was amazing. I highly recommend this tour.
