What To Expect

Your comprehensive hop-on hop-off bus tour begins at a time and place that work best for you: With your 24-hour tickets, you have the ultimate flexibility when determining your sightseeing schedule. Choose to meet at the Yonge Dundas Square start point and stay aboard for the whole 2.25-hour loop, or board at any other stops en route (buses arrive roughly every half hour).

Once aboard, listen to the multilingual audio commentary and learn insider stories about the sights that you wouldn’t encounter on your own. You’ll embark on a loop past many of the city’s key landmarks, all without having to find your own way through the city.

This route will take you past iconic sights like the CN Tower, the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Distillery District, the St. Lawrence Market, and more, making it a great option for first-time or time-pressed Toronto visitors.

Your tickets expire after 24 hours, but until then, you can hop on and off as much as you’d like.

This was based on our first guide who was brilliant and so glad we stayed on for the entire tour first as he was brilliant. Next guide after joining again was difficult to understand and not very engaging so score might have been different. Traffic in downtown Toronto is horrendous so be warned it takes time to get round.

Not hop on hop off

False advertising. The bus does not run every 15 mins. We waited about 2 hours to get picked up. The tour guide claimed it was a 45 min wait for next bus. We didn’t get on and off because we feared we couldn’t get back on the bus. It was not worth the price

This didn’t start well with no indication of where to pick up the bus from Union Station where we arrived from in Toronto! Our web chat with Company didn’t get answered and we had to ask Hotel Concierge Staff for help. The numerous road works impacted on the enjoyment of the trip along with poor weather which were beyond the control of the tour operator, although maybe varying the route might have mitigated delays. The tour guides did have some interesting commentary but it was sometimes hard to hear them as the tech let them down. The driver was very competent. You can see a lot of the city using this tour, but to get the full experience start it early. I did enjoy exploring St. Lawrence Market.

I feel this is more a bus to catch to attractions of interest. We did get some historical information but just hearing the guide mention that Toronto has some of the most expensive apartments in Canada and pointing them out to us all and naming the time hotels en-route was of zero interest

It was nice that we didn't have to drive in the city. The bus driver all the way down to the people who spoke were extremely nice. The only problem was the first bus we got on was leaking very badly from the rain so many seats were unavailable to sit in. The buses really need to be upgraded. The audio was very difficult to hear, so many people just stopped listening. The other buses the audio was the same. The first bus we got on the speaker was very nice, but we could not understand her at all.

Don’t do it!

We couldn’t find the bus stop to start. The scanner didn’t work for our ticket. The sound system didn’t work on the second bus. The bus broke down (we think) and we had to offload onto another one after sitting there waiting for 15 minutes. My friend knew more than the guides. The last bus was going to be 4pm because of traffic! We didn’t see some important landmarks. Our seniors discount was $3. The trip was very expensive in our opinion. We ended up leaving the bus and finding our own way to an island ferry then catching the subway and bus home. Plenty of options there.

The bus never showed up after waiting over 40 minutes. So we ended walking everywhere. We scheduled the service to maximize our short time and distance to see some of the main tourist attractions.

This excursion is not done very well. I could not hear the person speaking about where we were at which made it horrible because everyone was speaking. I realized at the end they had not given me earphones to listen to what they were saying. I have no doubt there were places of interest in this beautiful city but I couldn’t tell you about them.
