Most wineries have outdoor seating only, please dress accordingly to stay warm on colder days
Since Covid, most wineries are not offering tastings, but rather flights and wine by the glass, and samples
Some wineries do not accept cash, they require payment to be on a card
We strongly recommend that you use an Uber/Lyft/Taxi to get to the pick up location, and for your return trip home.
This is a public tour, not a private tour

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

We were signed up for Leelanau tour but the day before got a call not enough pasengers. They switched us to the Old Mission Peninsula tour which had wineries more to our liking so it was a great switch! Our guide Mike had a dry sense of humor which was fun - and his selection of music for sing-along on the bus was great! He was a consummate host - preparing us for each winery, checking on us during each visit, and pointing out sights along the way. It was a dreary cloudy day - just perfect for wine tasting and sight seeing. A wonderful Sunday that exceeded my expectations.

The bus was configured to get us talking to each other which was great. The wineries we stopped at were good and had plenty of time at each one. Cider place was a favorite and added some variety. Downsides were that we weren’t given any local/touristy on our ride and we couldn’t see out the windows very well.

Our tour of Leelanau Peninsula was cancelled due to lack of bookings (we chose a tour in the middle of the week so it was a little quieter in town!) but the company reached out right away to reschedule us for the Old Mission Peninsula tour for the exact same day and time as we were previously booked for! Our tour was INCREDIBLE - everything from our tour guide, Mike (who is seriously the best in the biz when it comes to wine tours and dad jokes) to the wineries we visited and the photo ops and fun that were had made this the perfect way to tour the peninsula in comfort, style, and delicious wine suggestions! Set yourself up for the perfect afternoon and book a winery tour ASAP!

We had a lot of fun, and our driver did play great tunes during the trip, however, the route we took and the wineries we visited were not the ones listed in the booking. I was disappointed that we were not treated to some more educational tastings, no tours or offers for pairings or anything special from any of the places we visited.

My mom, daughter and mother in law went on a girl’s trip to do the Traverse City uncorked event. A little disappointed because we were under the impression that the wine tour would take us to wineries test participated with the event. The wineries we were taken to were not participating ones and one was even closed that we were taken to. Andy our driver saved the day and listened to our disappointment and took us to wineries that participated and even went to one extra winery to make up for the mix up and ended up staying longer on his shift than he needed to. Highly recommend him as a driver. Very nice guy and made things right!

Enjoyed the Aurora winery immensely. Our Driver, David was phenomenal ! One issue with the tour and booking was discovered during our trip as we were not visiting the specific wineries listed when we booked. I specifically choose the tour based on the list including 45 North and Leelanau winery . David was able to accommodate Leelanau, only. The tour and wineries have the final say as to who you visit the day of your tour. It was a fun day though.
