We really enjoyed the chance to sail on Lake Michigan in a ship that represents the class of sailing ships that were the unsung heroes of the age of sail. (Schooners) The crew knew exactly how to sail the Wind Dancer, and we also enjoyed hearing about the history of this particular boat.

Took my Son sailing for the first time. Perfect experience. The crew not only took care of business when it came to navigating the sailing, it was the interactions with them all that made the day. Once you started to get to know them, it was evident that each of them loved what they do, had a deep knowledge of their craft and deep history of local and ecological history. When I say history, they were discussing 200,000 year old events impacting the terrain today. We got lucky with a perfect weather day, but any day would be an enjoyable experience if you open your mind to the world of sailing.

My husband loves sailing. Had not been in a while. They allowed him to participate! It was a great birthday surprise for him. Food & drinks were excellent! Weather was beautiful! Crew was personable and fun!

Absolutely recommend! The crew is amazing and very knowledgeable and hospitable. The snacks were yummy and drinks were free flowing! Lol. The chicken sandwich was very dry but the accompanying salad and brownie were yum. We sat with a great group of strangers in the back and had the best time! The lake was amazing and weather was gorgeous. Great way to spend an afternoon.

The Day Sail was terrific!! We asked for GF option which management did not provide so we were not able to eat!!

Thank you for taking time to share your experience. We regretted that oversight and ordered gluten free to go meals from Artisan at the Delmar for you when you returned to shore. Not the same we know, but we felt awful and wanted to make it better! We don't have customers, we have friends.
