Overview
Try your hand at Indian cooking in the home of a local home chef with this cooking class. Your instructor, Durga, will teach you how to make all sorts of savory dishes, including dal (lentils), chapati (flatbread), and a main dish. After class, you and your fellow students will sit down to dine on your creations.

We had a wonderful time with Durga. She is an absolute expert in the kitchen and we learned the joys and simplicity of Indian home cooking with some laughs along the way. I'd recommend this class to anyone spending a couple days in Udaipur.

I really enjoyed this class. Durga is an excellent cook who clearly explains, teaches, entertains. I have enormous respect for this lovely lady. This was a hands on class and then we got to eat our dinner including the chapatis. Then we were sent all the recipes. Marvellous!

Best cooking class we've ever had. Lovely family full of passion about what they are doing. Durga asked us what we would like to learn and we put in practice everything. The food was delicious, we got all the recipes and are feeling confident to Cook at home in Australia. The family told us great stories about them and were completely open-mind to answer all our questions about the country and culture. We love the experience and definetely recommend to everyone.

Amazing cooking class with the amazing Durga! Lasted around three hours. Food was delicious and quite healthy. Very flexible lesson which can be tailored to your needs.

My daughters and I did the Durga cooking class and loved it! We learned so much and had a delicious meal to celebrate all our hard work. I would highly recommend this class!

We had a brilliant time learning how to make the base for Indian Curries, from which we now know how to make chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and lal mas. we also learned how to make chapati and paratha bread - who knew it could be so easy! Plus a delicious vegetable puleo rice. So we feel we know the basics and can’t wait to get experimenting. We were given all the recipes though only downside was there were no quantities. So top tip from us is to write down everything quantities wise as soon as you leave, or take a pen with you to write as you go. We tasted everything we made and it was asGood as you would get in a top class restaurant. Brilliant value informatively, charming and friendly family. Highly recommended.

La clase fue genial, con grandes explicaciones, con buena materia prima (se apreciaba después en el sabor de la comida)…pero lo mejor fue compartir con ellas la experiencia!
Además fue un regalo para mi marido (que disfrutó muchísimo) y ellas le regalaron por sorpresa una tarta con su nombre 💜

Beau moment partagé avec Durga. L’accueil était excellent ainsi que les mets cuisinés. La cuisine est grande et très propre. Durga est très professionnelle, charmante, patiente et souriante avec beaucoup d’humour. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse.
