      This is our main pickup point for this tour, we ask guests to be ready and waiting outside the airport between 13:00-13:50pm. Alternatively, if you wish to be collected from another location please call us.

      This tour ends in Alice Springs on day 3 at approximately 5:30-6:00pm. Please do not arrange for flights out of the ASP airport on the same day.

    What To Expect

    • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
    • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
    • Not wheelchair accessible
    • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
    • ​​​A minimum moderate to advanced level of fitness is required to complete the walks. Therefore a medium/high level of fitness is required and a doctor's certificate is required for people over 70 years (30 days prior to travel).
    • The tour operator must be notified of any known medical conditions at the time of booking. This is a very physical tour and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility.
    • ​​While we endeavour to cater to most dietary needs, passengers must advise dietary requirements to their booking agent at the time of booking. As we are venturing to remote areas we are very limited in what we can source once the tour departs, therefore prior notice is required.
    • This itinerary may vary to adapt to seasonal changes and occasionally spots in the parks close or do not allow swimming. As safety is our top priority we plan accordingly to ensure our guests have the most fun and best experience possible while on tour.
    • ​Children aged between 8 to 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times. Not suitable for infants or children 7 years and under, due to safety requirements and the level of fitness required to complete the walk.
    • ​​​Limited storage space in our vehicles. Baggage must be kept to 1 x 15kg travel bag, 1 x 5kg day bag. Not suitable for mobility-impaired travellers, wheelchairs, walkers or strollers.
    • ​​Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing.
    • ​Please advise at time of booking whether you require a hire of a sleeping bag?
    • ​Guests are asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean up and vehicle unpacking/loading, so everyone can relax together after a long day of touring. It’s also a great way to get to know and connect with your fellow travellers.
    • ​This tour ends in Alice Springs and on select days Ayers Rock.
    • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 21 travelers

    Cancellation Policy

    You can cancel up to 6 days in advance of the experience for a full refund.

    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 6 full days before the experience’s start time.
    • Any changes made less than 6 full days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • For a 50% refund, you must cancel 2–6 full days before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 2 full days before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Any changes made less than 2 full days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
    • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

    Enjoyed the 4 day camping tour of Uluru. Had a marvellous time camping under the stars, exploring so many exquisite spots of nature and having a laugh with the group! Everything was well organised from food, to sleeping arrangements. I also enjoyed the hands on experience, everyone pitched in gathering fire wood, washing dishes etc. Our tour guide, Damien was bloody awesome. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, a great chef, he was also respectful of Indigenous Peoples culture, teaching us tourists what is and isn’t culturally appropriate. He was also able to flow with the mood of the group, allowing us to travel through at a bit of a slower pace to really soak up the gorgeous scenes. So impressed with the whole experience!
