A real outback experience
Alyn_M, Oct 2023
From kangaroo tail to wichetty grub snacks and Uluru close up and desert roads the trip was a true outback experience. Great guides and small group.
Afternoon in outback

Very interesting afternoon. Learning about Anangu culture, plants which give honey and sweet nectar and digging for maku.

Connie was our guide for the tour. Connie has the perfect personality for this experience & we really enjoyed the day. Thank you
An amazing time we will not forget.

The SeeIt guides Matt and Georgia were amazing. From the time they picked us up until returning us to our camp ground they were professional, fun, knowledgeable, great driver. They cared for us in every way possible to make us comfortable. The Anangoo guide Sammy was a great representative for the First Nation people. He made us feel welcome in his country. The afternoon tea time was a great experience as Sammy educated us on Uluṟu history. Seeing wild camels was amazing. The culmination of the excursion was the spectacular sunset seen from a special site on Aboriginal land.
Grateful for the opportunity!

This was simply an amazing opportunity to spend time with an aboriginal community leader sharing his experiences of the land and culture and family history.
Original aboriginal experience.

This was the best tour at Uluru as we learned of the many significant places in the aboriginal homelands. It was lead by Sammy Wilson who is an elder of the aboriginal community as well as a board member of Uluru Park. He killed an iguana and cooked it for us.
Worth every minute

We loved every minute of this adventure. Both Kayla and Ken were absolutely wonderful- authentically themselves, kind, informative, and lively. And Kayla is a very good driver! I don’t want to tell you too much because it is so good to let the whole adventure just unfold. One thing I will say is that spending time with Ken gave us a lot of insight into Anangu culture. It’s true that we went to marvel at the landscape, but ended up truly appreciating the people.
Best tour of our trip.

This was the best tour of our trip. Nine of us in a very comfortable 4wd bus. Our bus driver Jay was very knowledgeable and made us very comfortable throughout the day. Our guides, Tina and Lawrence, descendants of the original people of Uluṟu, showed us their amazing country and shared their culture with us. This tour is a must for those who truly want to experience the essence of this area.
A unique experience

Peter and Mick were knowledgeable and friendly guides who shared their stories on this tour with great respect for both traditional owners and passengers. It was a most enlightening experience and very personal.
Unforgettable and a must do if you're visiting Uluru
Wilda_F, Jun 2022
I recommend this tour for anyone who wants to relearn the history of Australia and seeking the truth in light of Uluru's Statement from the Heart. We were lucky enough to have Sammy Wilson, a respected member of the Uluru family, as our guide for the day who shared a few stories and his knowledge about his homeland in Patji. I've learned much on this tour and it's triggered me to dive deeper and know more about how First Nations people live, their culture and their importance in Australian society for generations to come. The roads will be bumpy as you're leaving the national park area onto unsealed roads of traditionally owned land. My first taste of witchetty grub was memorable and there's nothing better than a good yarn over a cuppa tea. The highlight was watching the sunset with a view of Uluru and Kata-Tjuta in the distance, and the afterglow light show that Mother Nature provided from an exclusive viewing spot away from the masses and tourist buses. It's quite the experience and perhaps one of the best sunsets I've ever seen. Thank you also to Michele (aka Mick) for looking after us and superb driving skills.
Excellent

It was a privilege to do this tour and learn how the indigenous people live. We listen to their stories. We got to try some bush tucker. I won’t lie the road was very rough but we had an excellent driver.
Amazing

A fantastic cultural experience which allows you access to areas that you would not be allowed to enter normally. It is a honour to hear the story of the guide and his family history. The views from where he takes you to watch the sunset is breathtaking (it is the playground where he grew up). You learn the skills and the knowledge to hunt for grubs. Overall a great experience that is a must for anyone visiting the area
