  • Since we start the collections in Valencia until we return from the Albufera, it has an estimated duration of 4 hours.
  • We will not bathe on the beach or lake in this activity.
  • Throughout the year, we recommend that clients bring a jacket, sweater or sweatshirt for the boat ride, since at sunset it can get cold.
  • You can take your own food but you can't eat on the bus, you can only eat on the boat ride.
  • This activity does not have free time. Only 5 minutes to use the bathroom before taking the boat ride.
  • You have booked this experience: transportation from various pick-up points + excursion led by an official guide in the selected language + reservation management for the boat ride guaranteeing availability. (Bus + guide + management of reservations, so that you only worry about having a good time!)
  • The return transportation is included. With the same pick-up stops.
  • If you make the check out of your hotel you can take your luggage, as long as it is a cabin suitcase or a small backpack. You must notify us to guarantee space.
  • If you go at the afternoon: the schedule is approximated, we go to the best time to see the sunset from the lake (could change your pick up time 5 or 10 minutes)
  • Not recomended with babys or children less than 6 years old
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 25 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

I was a solo traveller...

I was a solo traveller and this is definitely a not to be missed experience. I would not do this as a day trip but definitely worth it to watch the sun go down. On the negative side it was a bit bitty and there was some waiting around - but hey I was on holiday so relax. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly.

A lovely trip concluded with a relaxing and atmospheric boat trip on Lake Albufera. Our guide Eva conducted the tour in a relaxed manner and gave a comprehensive commentary. Bus driver was careful and helpful.

the sunset at the lake and the view of the barracas. Second stop to see the sunset. Albufera beach is a bit underwhelming for a Brazilian ;-)

The trip was well organised and our guide Manuel was excellent as he gave clear explanation of the history and nature of the area in both Spanish and English. It was good to have a bit of variety in the outing by stopping at various points and watching the sun going down over the lake as obviously a highlight. We were fortunate to have a lovely warm and clear evening for the trip.

Memorable lagoon tour

We thoroughly enjoyed our lagoon tour which included a walk through the beautiful Forrest to the sea. The area is rich with history and is a fascinating ecological reserve. We visited a small, historic island in the lagoon and took a boat ride through the reed-lined waterways, out to the center of this huge lake. We stayed to watch the sun set behind the mountains, the birds all flying to their reed roosts. It was serene. Bring a jacket, it’s cold over the water! Loved it!

Fantastic contrast to the City - but Watch the weather

Very beautiful part and little known part of the coast. Great relaxing trip but we were very lucky with the weather. The lead up to the boat ride was a little too long especially as it was still a bit cool and windy. The guide was very courteous and informative but the explanations can be simpler and briefer. The boat ride itself was wonderful

We enjoyed all three stops - Saler Beach, la Devesa de Pujol, and especially the sunset boat ride on la Albufera. Rubén was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable, engaging and personable. And he communicated in two languages - Spanish and English.

This was a gorgeous tour which we really enjoyed. Ferran our guide was excellent and added to the experience. We had great weather, walked in the forest and on the beach and went out on the lagoon to watch the sunset. The locally grown rice from the paddy fields near El Palmar are also on sale to make your own paella. Recommend 110%

Convenient way to catch sunset on the lagoon

The park was really beautiful. And at sunset, we saw a lot of birds. It’s a pretty low key tour. The guide explained a little bit of history on the bus ride over, you look out across the docks and look at a map. You take a walk for about 20 minutes around the area where there is a space walled off for the birds, then you take a boat ride out into the lagoon, timed to catch the sunset. Then you head home. It’s pretty convenient and we enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this half day trip 😊 Our guide was excellent and provided lots of history about Valencia plus the area, Albufera, we were visiting He was obviously passionate about conservation and saving the natural forest and lagoon with its bird life. The trip was well paced with plenty of time for photos and our boat ride on sunset was lovely, and peaceful . Our driver was tops too. I highly recommend this trip!

We had a wonderful knowledgeable guide who explained the history of the Albufera and its importance. I highly recommend this tour! We enjoyed seeing the beach area and the bird sanctuary and the boat ride was the highlight of the trip. Once the boat reached the open water with beautiful views of Valencia in the distance the boatman turned of the motor and we watched the sunset in silence. It was so peaceful and beautiful!

Great tour. Definitely recommend! Fantastic and humorous guide. At the end of the trip, he gave us several restaurants and bars recommendations, which we took advantage of.

Couldn’t here the guides on the bus. And they packed the boat which was very tight. Would recommend a private tour.
