Overview

Nature Fun

Ana was an awesome host/guide! She made the whole trip educational and fun. I liked that she made it a point to get to know us and also made sure we were taking advantage of all the activities. Ana took photos through out the trip and so we didn't feel tied to our phones which made it so much more enjoyable. Now for the trip itself: I really enjoyed being in nature for the day in a beautiful setting at Montenejo. The springs weren't as warm as I would've imagined, yet, it was totally doable and fun. The second stop on the trip was unexpected and pretty cool. We stopped by where the river feeds the springs. Lunch was good and there were options for vegans/vegetarians. Ana kept an order for 18 people super organized. Lastly we made another stop at a waterfall and then made it home. I really recommend this tour if you want to have a fun day in nature and meet interesting people. If I hadn't gone on the excursion I feel I would've missed on all that Valencia and the surrounding area has to offer. A day well spent!

Good trip out of the city

Fun day outside of the city. Ana was a very friendly and energetic guide. It was cloudy and cool when we went so I only went in the water at one of the 2 swimming spots. We had a very good lunch and then visited 2 scenic spots. One was an amazingly powerful waterfall. A good day and trip, just wish it would have been a little warmer but nothing to be done about that.

Mike was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, considerate and fun, and really great with taking pictures for us. Standing under the waterfall was an unforgettable experience! The lunch spot was special as well—a local village restaurant away from tourists.

Be Prepared

Be prepared for some highs and lows. Quite an adventure! The tour guide was a sweetheart, full of energy! The first stop was a ton of fun for my two kids! They slid down rocks into water and enjoyed the view of the waterfall. The thermal springs were less welcoming, as the water was very deep and chilly. My tween daughter had to hang on my neck because she grew tired of swimming. There was a small cave to dip our toes only in the thermal spring. It was a wah-wah-wah moment. In other words, disappointing. My teen son was so cold that he started turning blue! My kids loved jumping off a small cliff though. Our last stop was more of a hike than I signed up for, but amazing view of a dam! I'd do it again, but bring a lunch, snacks, drinks and a walking stick. Be prepared.

Kiu was nice, knowledgeable, and fun. We loved it! It was a great mix of activities-two water, two nature stops, and a fun lunch. The driver did a wonderful job as well.

What a fabulous day. If you’re wanting to escape the city, and have a full day to commit, book this. What a beautiful experience. Kiu was our guide. He was hilarious, outgoing, loving, knowledgeable, spoke 6 languages, and genuinely loves what he does. We are extremely grateful that we landed with him. We are still sort of in off season. The water was cold. But get in anyway. You’ll regret it if you don’t.

Ana was such a fun person to see the waterfalls with, great local area knowledge and sincere passion for the sites she was showing and making everyone feel at ease. Couldn’t recommend this trip anymore to anyone visiting valencia and definitely book with Ana!

This was a day long tour, we visited amazing areas with waterfalls, thermal springs (it´s thermal because the temperature is constant throughout the year, but the water temperature is 25 celsius degrees, as announced, so don´t expect it to be super warm) and beautiful sightseeing. Mike was a great tour guide, our group was fantastic and we had a wonderful experience. A nice opportunity to explore the mountains near Valencia.

An amazing experience!! Mike was an amazing guide provided amazing photos and videos. Some walking involved, but nothing highly intensive. Water shoes were provided and the van ride was very comfortable. This a must do your if you are in Valencia and want spend a day outside of the city.

This was a wonderful trip and Kiu our host was fantastic. He is fun and very knowledgeable. The sites on the whole trip are absolutely stunning and well worth seeing while visiting Valencia. Driving through the mountains is beautiful. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was very good. Their pork cheeks are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this trip. A couple of tips I would suggest is to pack lots of water as there are no stops to purchase any, bring running shoes as some of the terrain is slippery and pack some toilet paper as the places we stopped at did not have any. We had such a great time.

The past few weeks we have been on holiday, visitinf several cities in three countries. We booked several excursions throughout our travels. This one has been the best ever! The sights are breathtaking! If you are looking for an outdoor expierence that pushes you out of your comfort zone (if you are not an outdoor peraon) or if you enjoy the outdoors, this trip is for you. [Healthy legs are needed for the walks to the sight).

The weather wasn't ideal the day of our tour for swimming and standing under waterfalls but is was nice enough to go in, however Kiu did a miraculous job of turning everyone's moods around and we had one of the best days of our entire vacation on this trip. The food was amazing, the waterfall and the swimming hole would be incredible in good weather and the hot springs were gorgeous. Also, Kiu took professional level photographs for the whole tour. Definitely recommend. Kiu is a superb guide

Too many good things to write! The waterfall was gorgeous, and although scary at first was an amazing experience to stand under We have nothing but fantastic things to say about our tour guide, Kiu. He was jovial, patient, and full of info and details throughout the whole trip. He’s also a pro photographer! He even gave recommendations for the city of Valencia at the end of the trip that were very helpful. Water shoes were provided (very helpful for slippery rocks). We stopped for lunch in Montanejos that was both delicious and inexpensive. The bus for pickup was right on time and this trip was worth every penny spent!

Kiu was just a joy to be around the whole day lol, the thermal springs were an added bonus. But seriously, 10/10 experience and amazing way to spend a day! Was the water cold? Yes—was it absolutely worth it? Also yes. The host (Kiu) rallied the whole group the entire day so it was always the perfect energy level, no cringe at all which is so rare for a group that size. Highly recommend!

An Excellent Tour Made Possible By A Superb Tour Guide

A fantastic tour from start to finish, made possible by our amazing tour guide Ana. Although Ana was the driver and tour guide, she was really totally immersed in the tour group. From the get go she welcomed everyone and made each individual feel comfortable and part of the group. She took part in every activity as team leader and team player and took myriad photos on her own and others mobiles. After checking with everyone, she then extended the tour including unscheduled stop-offs to some beautiful places. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. Ana, thankyou so much, you set the standard for all other tour guides to follow.

Great Day & Beautiful Hot Springs

I enjoyed the waterfall that we visited on the first stop and the Montanejos hot springs were beautiful. We ate lunch outside at a local restaurant as a group and the food was delicious and the portions were large. We ended the day with a few land afternoon stops, including a gorge (?) with a powerful force of water shooting out almost horizontally and a very peaceful dam. Throughout Kiu (our tour guide) and Ana (our driver) were lively, fun, communicative and hard-working. Kiu even sang a song for us in the tunnel on the way to one of the afternoon stops :) (he is a professional singer.) My only suggestion would be to leave a bit more free time at the waterfall and the hot springs (I'm a water lover and love to swim), but the tour is full of stops, so I understand the need to move quickly, so that we don't get back too late.
