The Ancient Trees of Stanley Park Tour
      Marlene_R, May 2024
The whole tour was so well planned. Colin is a great guide who not only showed us the trees but shared so much historical information about Stanley Park and the various types of trees and other plants in the area. It was a great combination of recreation and education!
Amazing tour, one of our best days in Vancouver!
      Stephanie_L, May 2024
Colin is a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about the park and the conservation of the trees. This was probably our best day in Vancouver getting to see some of the natural history and 1000's of year old trees! Well worth every penny and would highly recommend :)
      A memorable must-go

Colin was extremely knowledgeable, fun and friendly, and made it a memorable adventure that we won’t soon forget. Not to mention, we learned so much and we found Colin’s tour a one-of-a-kind experience that both visitors and residents should attend!
      Great learning experience about trees

Pleasant experience with Collin. He is a knowledgeable tour guide in this arena. He has made the trail walk a more fun and informative experience. Highly recommended!

Colin is a very knowledgeable guy, I learned so many things about trees that I didn't know. He is interesting and fun and time flies by on the tour.
      Great ancient tree seeker experience

I had a great experience with this tour. The park has many different hidden gems that were brought to my attention and different digestable facts to learn about these ancient, and not so ancient, trees. I recommend even if you have no knowledge on the subject as the guide will walk you through so many interesting facts of the park.
Truly amazing nature in urban Vancouver

Colin is a Vancouver treasure. His knowledge and passion were non-stop. If we had only one thing we could do in this beautiful town, all three (ages 60, 25, and 24) agree this tour would be it. Excellent in every way.
      Fantastic nature walk

The Ancient Trees of Vancouver walking tour was the highlight of our trip! Colin contacted us and rearranged our meeting time due to inclement weather, gave detailed meet-up information, and was incredibly informed about the subject. He had maps, news articles, antique postcards, and photographs (all laminated), which added to his immense knowledge of the site - especially the trees. It was an experience we will never forget. I couldn't recommend it more. Fascinating, thorough, and spiritually centering. Even my 19 year old son enjoyed the 2+ hour hike through this amazing Park.
Scenic walking tour full of knowledge and history.

Was travelling solo and Colin was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide that takes you through the depths of Stanley Park and explains to significance and history of some of Canada's oldest and most important trees. Gained a ton of new knowledge and appreciation for the trees I never even knew existed. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vancouver and wanting to see Stanley Park.
      Educating and beautiful tour!

Colin is a true expert in his field and his mission as an ancient tree CONSERVATIONIST (not to be confused with an arborist) moved us to the core. Truly one of the most inspiring moments of our trip. We left more educated and awe inspired by this dwindling and critically vital ecosystem. the trees will blow your mind! His articulate retelling of the First Nations peoples’ and their plight in the area brought deeply moving awareness Colin is a wonderful guide and a gift to this land.
      A Must See!
      Jodi_J, Jul 2023
Not only is Colin knowledgeable about the trees of Stanley Park, he has a passion for them as well! Colin shared historical accounts and stories about Stanley Park and connected those stories with the trees of present-day. The path we walked was easy to navigate and absolutely gorgeous. I thought it was a fantastic tour, and being able to connect with these big beauties was truly an honor!
      Number 1 tour in Vancouver.
