We enjoyed seeing all of the noteworthy bbuildings of the old monarchy and the current government buildings. Our guide was knwoledgeable, and she really knew her history; she could supply dates and timelines for everything. We really enjoyed seeing the gardens and stopping off to walk in to some note-worthy cathedrals.

Our guide Dace was incredible. She was so passionate about Austrian history, and nothing was scripted. She just knows her stuff. She threw in a dash of humor here and there and very delicately handled the Nazi history portion of the tour.

The best way to learn the history of Vienna is to take a guided tour. This tour is the one. The tour took us through the best parts of Vienna. Highly recommended, you will never regret.

The walking tour was excellent, the guide Giselle was wonderful and easy to understand. However, there were 15 people signed up for the tour and one was no show. All 14 were present, but she was concerned about a one no show, rather than the 15 who were there on time.

This tour is an excellent way to explore the background and history of Vienna and the Hapsburg dynasty. You view some beautiful buildings and gain interesting insight into the history behind the Austrian-Hungarian Empire. The tour is a great way to pack a lot of information in a short period of time. The tour guide did a wonderful job of blending historical details and facts with humor. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Vienna.

This guided walk around the streets of Vienna was so enlightening, we learned facts about the rich history of the city, including the nobility that influenced the culture of the city. We were so much more prepared to explore deeper insights into the heritage rich city. Pointing out shops and confection and food options was a plus. This is a very good tour to start your time in Vienna. We did it as soon as we arrived. Our guide (Dace) was very knowledgable and lovely. It is an "overview" so you are walking around and seeing the heart of the city and where things are. You still should book (in addition) whatever you are also specifically interested in (such as Sisi Museum, Welt Museum, Imperial Palace, Spanish Riding School etc.)
