AIRPORT, NADI & DENARAU - Complimentary coach transfers are provided to/from most of the Nadi/Denarau & Wailoaloa resorts. Should you miss the complimentary coach transfer, you will need to find your own way to/from Port. Denarau at your own cost. Please check with your hotel concierge for the exact pick-up time. CORAL COAST, NATADOLA, MOMI, SONAISALI - Complimentary coach transfers are provided for the 10 am departure from most Coral Coast, Natadola, Momi Bay & Sonaisali hotels/resorts. Please check with your hotel tour desk to see if a pick-up is applicable from your hotel/resort and the coach departure time. Missed coach connections will necessitate customers to make their own arrangements at their own cost to join Day Tour

What To Expect

South Sea Island—part of the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji—is a small piece of paradise located near Port Denarau. Whether you select just a few hours or a full day on the South Sea Island, find plenty to do with unlimited use of the island facilities.

After hotel pickup (full-day tour only), you’re transferred to Port Denarau to board your vessel for the short cruise. On arrival, spend your time relaxing or make use of non-motorized water activities available such as kayaking and windsurfing.

Don a mask and flippers for fabulous snorkeling opportunities, even at low tide. Or, if you’d like to explore the coral gardens up close, search for ‘Nemo’ aboard the semi-submersible boat for a ride under the waves. Upgrade your tour to include an introductory dive or certified dive in the Marine Sanctuary, depending on your scuba level.

Back on dry land, join a volleyball game, laze on the white-sand beach or be entertained by a 'Meke' performance of traditional dance (except Sundays). If there’s time, get a massage or take an optional scenic cruise around the other Mamanuca Islands (additional cost; payable direct).

Enjoy unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks throughout the day. When it’s time for lunch, dig into a barbecue accompanied by salads (if option selected). Your tour ends with return transport.

The cruise for Nadi and Denarau area departs Denarau at 9.00am and returns to Denarau at 6.00pm.
The cruise for Coral Coast area departs at Denarau at 10.00am and returns to Denarau at 5.00pm
In the event of adverse weather and sea conditions, we retain the right to cancel all water-based activities, including snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and the Subsea Adventure in our semi-submersible.
Please bring swimsuit, towel, protective clothing from the sun including a hat and sunblock, light jacket or sweater during the cooler months, money or credit card for optional purchases, your camera and sense of fun!

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Super cool island excursion. Everything was planned perfectly. Staff super helpful and competent. Relaxed environment, not too many ppl on the island; I recommend to book the 9am tour to get the best laying beds, but there are enough. Program on the island is presented after arrival. A guide accompanies the snorkeling trip which is super nice as he shows the best spots. Food is okay, complimentary bar ist awesome.

Spending time on a windy island with little to do but swim and lie by the pool/ beach. Would have been better staying at the resort where I could have done that for a lot less.

The Fijian workers were all fantastic, friendly and funny. The Island is small, which is perfect because last thing I want is to be walking long distances on an island. Facilities are good. Food was great. Activities was awesome. Enjoyed the snorkelling. Was my family first time and was great to see their reaction to the beauty of the sea. Cruise was quick and smooth. Very happy with our day.

We had a great time on the South Seas Island. Skuba diving was a memorable experience. Staff were very good and helpful. Overall we had a great time on the South Seas Island.

It was not good weather, but still we could have lots of fun! Very friendly staff. If you bring children I recommend bring their drinks ( and snacks ) because free for only fizzy drinks otherwise you can buy apple juice etc..at Bar.

We had a wonderful day hanging out on the island. Pick up at our Sheraton was easy and the bus took us straight to the marina. We had an easy ride out there and got to swim and snorkel on the island before doing the outside reef snorkel which was close by and allowed us to see many more fish and lovely coral. We also did the underwater viewing boat and although hot and humid inside and a bit claustrophobic, the kids loved it. The lunch was simple but good, with grilled chicken, salads, fruit and garlic bread and the local beers were good. There is a cash/card bar for cocktails, kids snacks and that was helpful later in the day. Would do it again in a ln a heartbeat!

Really did not enjoy this tour, definitely not worth the price. Emailed to discuss how we felt the description of trip was misleading and were ignored and told to talk to someone else. Overall really terrible experience

The best day EVER!!!! Everything you could possible need on an island. All equipment supplied, an awesome performance, lunch was delicious and you really felt like home. We will be coming back with our kids at the end of the year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️

The weather was lovely, the water was clear, the snorkeling was good even just off the island. There was a cultural dance and song show with great photo ops. Most of the folks got down at Maramala beach resort and we weren't sure if the handful left behind on the boat made a right decision. It was a more laidback and rustic place but we had a fun time as we're a big family group.

Pick up at hotel is listed at 10:00am. Driver showed up at 8:15am. No call on cell or having the hotel concierge ring our room. Just left without us. We could have been ready to go in 5 minutes had we known. Tour operator refused to refund.

Overcharged account different from price confirmed in booking. Terrible experience

Bad experience. Booked online and price given was 400 odd dollars but they deducted 710 from my bank account. Will not be using it again. Site did not say what currency used so assumed it was Fijian dollars. No explanation or reply given when I emailed them for explanation of why the price difference in what was confirmed and what they took from my bank account

Beautiful views of the blue water with the main island back drop. Friendly staff on the island and a tasty buffet lunch. Enough activities to get you through a whole day and plenty of chairs and shade near the beach. Would recommend reef shoes.

Amazing experience start to finish, the 25foot catamaran, ample seating to the Island. Great facilities, super friendly staff, common areas. Lunch well catered for. The submersive, massage, diving teachers were great options. Most of all? I enjoyed the snorkelling there is fish in the water and guests don't know they're right there! Neons with flashy tails. I loved our South Sea Cruise opportunity

The food was trash. This was not a full day. 9am pick up, we left the dock at 10am, made a stop to malamala beach club, than to south sea my destination at 11am. The boat to pick me up and take me back was at 4:15pm this is a scam. Definitely not worth the money. Never again. Go somewhere else. The food was so nasty, not even salt and pepper or some herbs and spices. Bland dog food. Trash.

The Island was welcoming with lots of free activities for all ages. Just swimming in the water with fish swimming close by was awesome. The semi submersible boat was fantastic, seeing different types of fish, coral and even a ray. The cocktails (not free) so delicious and worth it. Tribal dancing and music was an enjoyment to watch.
