The changing of the guard ceremony and the JFK family gravesite. We were there when Joseph P Kennedy 11 and I assume his wife were kneeling at JFK’s stone & praying. So moved by this. Pamela our guide was very good & knowledgeable. Thanks Pam!

It was a beautiful day to walk through the cemetery and see the changing of the guards. We learned many things about the history of the treasured burial grounds and known and unknown people resting there.

Arlington is impressive site. The experience you have on these kind of tours is also dependent on your guide. I believe our guide's name was Allen ("the man in black" as he referred to himself). He was a wonderful guide, he could tell us lots about the history of Arlington and how the cemetery evolved throughout the years, and how one qualifies to be buried there. He pointed out details of several graves (e.g. how to identify a medal of honor recipient) and history of certain persons that are buried here. He used his experience to give us a wonderful view of the changing of the guards so you could see everything unobstructed. Pacing of the tour was good, not too fast or too slow. Would recommend it.
Powerfully impactful!

A professionally conducted tour or Arlington Cemetery with a knowledgeable, personable guide.
Charles_P, Apr 2024
Meet up location was easy and a short walk from the Metro Station. Pam was knowledgeable and pleasant. She was an able navigator in the 640 acre cemetery. Also she pointed out many locations of famous folks final resting places that we would not have found on our own.

The cemetery has so many stories to tell and our guide Pam did an excellent job of sharing her knowledge. So many facts and background stories brought the historic location to life. A must see in Washington DC.
Simply the Best!!!
Susan_H, Apr 2024
It was a beautiful day at Arlington. Jim kicked off the tour with asking folks where they were from which generated a lot of organic conversation, which he tied in throughout the tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was very passionate about sharing all the facts of some of our most historic figures and veteran. My 9 year old son was with us and he was very inclusive of him as the only child in the group. We saw the changing of the guards, President Kennedy’s eternal flame. and we were even able to find Ira Hayes’ grave with Jim’s direction.
Bucket must do list
Sherry_T, Apr 2024
