Beautiful day in Wellington

This was a great tour! Brian our tour guide and driver was very knowledgeable. We arrived on a cruise ship and were picked up from the dock, which was easy and smooth. Given there was a lot of tourists in Wellington on the day and a funeral at Old Saint Paul's church, Brian changed the order of our visits a little to get the most out of our day. A little more time at the top of Cable Car would have been great. We enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.

Wellington city tour

Flex-tour company came later for pick up. We tried to call them multiple times. No one picked up the phone. At last, I had to contact WhatsApp. In the end, the tour guide showed up and picked us up. The tour was OK, but not that great. The tour guide was knowledgeable though

Disappointed

A very disappointing tour and not worth the money we paid. Our family group made 2 separate bookings for the same time slot and we assumed that we would be together. However 2 from the group went off in a small tour bus with a group of 10. We went in a large bus of 25. On our tour, there was no break for morning tea or coffee and then to top it all, there was a car race on Mount Victoria and our bus could not get up there!! A major scenic attraction and your company was not aware of this. The guide simply said we could not go there!! He then mentioned that we would go to the botanical Gardens, but before we knew it, we were at the drop off point and the tour completed. When we met up with our other family members, who had been on the small bus, not only had they been up Mount Victoria, they had been inside the Royal cinema (we just drove passed it), they had stopped at a place for a morning tea break, been to the gardens, got out of the bus at parliament house and had a great day. How different from our day. I expected that when people purchased a tour with you, that all of the tours went to the same places. Also, if there is an event in the city, it is your responsibility to be aware of this and make appropriate plans. To simply miss a major attraction and simply say we can't go there, is NOT acceptable. When asked about our visit to Wellington and people ask about Mount Victoria, how amazing that we paid $139, for a cable car trip and a drive past a few places and never actually made Mount Victoria! All in all, I am extremely unhappy with the service and the price charged for this tour. Due to the inconsistency of the tour, I could not recommend it to anyone anyone because they could have our tour and not the small bus tour. I recommend that your tour guides are given the same itinerary. As a goodwill token to the company, I have not posted a bad review. This being the case, I would kindly request a refund amount for our disappointment.

It was an exceptional day with the key road to Mt Vic closed in addition to a Kids tryathlon being held on our standard route too. 2 ships on the same day also added complications.
