Excellent tour. Elina the tour guide and the driver gave us a very good service. Elina was very informative. Noravnak was so beatiful, I couldn't stop taking pictures. The cave was beautiful and interesting. The tour to the Winery ended with testing that we enjoyed so much. Lunch was good and tasty and located in a beautiful place. I highly recommend this tour.

Awesome Tour
Erick, Jan 2024
This is an awesome tour. Our guide Nare were speaking in 2 languages & she was great in doing so. The spots we went to were gorgeous with snow in the background. I love winter travels. Lunch venue was also beautiful & good food. And yes, there is wifi on board. Thank you, Nare for representing & showcasing the awesome Armenia!😘
A must experience

I had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide was absolutely lovely and gave all of the information in Russian and English, and it was a very informative and entertaining tour. The drive was stunning and the sites we visited were some of my favorite in Armenia.
Exploring around Mount Ararat

It is an amazing whole day tour and we enjoyed every moment. Thanks to our wonderful tour guide, we have learned a lot of the historical background of Armenia. We also loved the local food and wine tasting experience.
Professional tour & beautiful sights!
Dessie_N, Oct 2023
Our guide was very knowledgeable, and conducted information in English & Russian on the road on the way to sights as well as at each site. We had free time to explore but also guided walk around each site with information, so nice balance. Really beautiful views and sights on this trip, and really professional company…lunch is probably the most “touristy” with set lunch options but the restaurant environment is nice.
Great to get acquainted with Armenia in a casual manner! Recommend it!

All stops were fantastic! And the guide (forgot her name, sorry!) was competent, friendly and managed everything perfect!
Decent small tour, good spots
Megan_H, Sep 2023
Our guide was lovely and all spots visited were great. She provided good information and we spent a good amount of time at each. The winery is particularly good. It’s a bit tricky working in both English and Russian. All spots were nice and decent time spent at each. Vegetarian option for lunch isn’t great, but they added in extra salad on request.
Very good day trip

Driver (Marat) was (for Armenian standards) careful and did not take unneccessary risks. The tourguide (Sam) was very knowledgable, very pleasant and absolutely fluent in English and Russian language. Perfect trip.
Amazing tour

It was a great experience. Our guide, Sam, is a very entertaining guy, and told us nice stories and anecdotes throughout the journey. The driver is very professional. We had an amazing time in Armenia! We highly recommend it.
Wonderful- don't miss out!

I had a great time!! Hasmik was our tour guide and she was so lovely and very good at explaining everything and answering questions! Went solo but met some really cool people on the trip. I feel like I was rushed just a little bit so if you want more time at the spots, maybe do a private tour. But other than that, the information and the tour guide was excellent and for the sites we saw and time it took it was well worth it if you are only here for a few days.
Great tour guide but...

Great tour guide but difficult having both English and Russian translation. I would recommend choosing one or the other.
Great Tour - Please Improve Lunch Meal!
Emilie_S, Jul 2023
It was a really well organized tour for the price, and we saw all of our main points. The tour guide worked HARD always speaking in English and in Russian. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the lunch was cramped, rushed and not very good. There weren't any vegetarian options for alternative eaters, and we didn't have any opportunities to experience some Armenian cuisine. I was more than fine with what I signed up for, but after a long hot day walking around all of our sites, the group was really looking forward to eating, but after the quality of lunch we had, I think it really killed the morale and spirit of the tour.

The route in the Caucasian mountains is magnificent, as well as the great monasteries and the location of the restaurant with nice food
Great trip, worth it, just make sure you get instructions for pick up
Pivarcsi_C, Apr 2023
The tour guide was superb. She was knowledgeable and well prepared. The places are insanely interesting. However I have to mention the issue we run into. Ordered a hotel pickup, however there were no instructions to wait next to the hotel, outside on the street. We waited at the reception of the hotel, and barely made it running to the meeting point which was 25 minutes away, when realising there wouldn’t be anyone picking us up.
Too much driving with not much to see.
Daniel_P, Mar 2023
It was a very long day of 8 hours of driving mostly. I think part of the problem is that we only stop for a very short time viewing old monasteries or buildings and then drive for another long time before seeing another old monastery. I'm not against learning the history of the places etc but too much driving with a bad driver who probably shouldn't be driving! I'm not against older drivers....hell, I'm almost 70 ...but, this guy drove down the middle of the 2 lane highway across both lanes and barely moved. He would be driving uphill and then pass vehicles only to come around the curve with a car coming down hill where he would have to move over back into his lane and thankfully the person he was passing moved over to let him do it. That happened a number of times. I don't think he ever looked at the side mirror...I was watching him. About 3-4 times, he pulled over to the side and restarted the vehicle because for some reason it had died....scary! OK...that was the vehicle but the driver was not someone I would want to ride with again. OK, the rest of the places we went to were "alright" but again...lots of driving. The winery we stopped at the last stop was just OK. Also....I didn't think the guide was that good.

Very good trip seeing lots of stunning things especially Mount Ararat. Unfortunately the guide encouraged a group to drink excessively and get drunk. They then played loud music for the group to sing along to on the 90 minute return journey.
Highly recommended tour!

Perfect tour for first-time visitors to Yerevan
Jamie_O, Feb 2023
I took this tour with a friend, and we both loved it. Our tour guide, Nareh, was friendly, knowledgable, and enthusiastic. She was great. I was especially impressed with Nareh's ability to lead the tour in two languages, Russian and English, both of which I know well. The tour is a long one, but it's completely worth the time investment. It includes stops at a church and a monastery that are important to the Christian history of Armenia, as well as a lunch of Armenian food and a tasting at a local winery. You might even catch a glimpse of Mount Ararat if the skies are clear. I learned so much about the history, politics, and culture of Armenia from Nareh, and I encourage others to take this tour as well. You'll be glad you did it.
Lovely trip to Armenia’s highlights - great guide in Nare
Simon_T, Dec 2022
Lvely trip to Khor Vieap, the amazing Areni caves (exceeded expectations), the stunning Noravank monastery and a delicious lunch. Marvellous guide called Nare who played lovely Armenian music on the way back - from traditional to Eurovision!
Highly recommended

Very polite and friendly guide. Amazing country with very kind people. And very beautiful landscape + churches. Highly recommended
Irresponsible Tour Company
Dean_W, Sep 2022
Yerani Travel are a terrible company. They cancelled several locations on the tour (which was completely understandable due to the tensions at the time with Azerbaijan), however they did not inform me or anyone else of the cancellations. Instead they devised a completely different tour without informing anyone of this beforehand, and giving us the option to cancel. Incredibly, we were only informed after the first stop (about an hour drive outside of Yerevan), when I queried the location with the tour guide as it wasn't on the tour itinerary. I was then told that the itinerary had been changed, and the tour guide then informed the entire bus of this (needless to say, people were pretty angry). To underline how irresponsible a company they are, I have requested a refund, and been refused as I completed the alternate tour. I'm not quite sure how I could have not completed the tour, since I was only informed part way into it, at a monastery in the middle of nowhere. To make matters worse, the one place we did go to on the tour (Khor Virap); we had only 25 mins rather than 1 hour as stated on the itinerary.
