A Great Day Trip

This was a great trip through a beautiful part of England. Mark, of Best of Britain tours, was an excellent driver and a thoughtful and engaging guide. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about our itinerary and his efforts to help us make the most of our day were greatly appreciated. The villages and vales we visited were idyllic and the park itself was magnificent. Thank you, Mark, for a day that we will long remember!

Wonderful Trip to the Dales

Mark, our guide, was excellent in helping us see and experience as much as possible of the beautiful Dales. We unexpectedly got to see many of the filming sites of All Creatures Great and Small. I loved the visit to the creamery where we not only tasted but I joined a tour explaining how cheese is made. We visited many picturesque small towns. A delightful day.

Enjoyable Experience

Even though I was the only participant, the tour went on as planned! Mark was extremely welcoming and at no point did I feel awkward about being alone. He was knowledgeable about many topics and I very much enjoyed the experience.

I totally enjoy this trip into the Yorkshire country side. Our guide was very knowledgable, engaging, patient with all our questions. All the town stops were BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Historical, scenic... my first time in the UK and in the city York, so all of it blew me away! The stop at Bolton Castle totally made the day for me. It's a full day, bring comforty shoes and enjoy.

Just sitting and watching the countryside, accompanied by our tour guide and driver Mark’s excellent narrative. He was terrific, clear diction, very informative, interesting and fun. Oh- waiting a few minutes for a flock of sheep to be moved from one field to another, was an extra treat 😊👍🏼
