Yardenit (Jordan River Baptismal Site) Tours and Tickets

The day tour to Baptism Site and Dead Sea was the last leg of our Jordan trip. Our driver Khaled was friendly and professional. We did not have to worry about anything regarding the Baptism site guide and Dead Sea hotel check in to use the amenities. A special shout out to Khaled for also recommending a great store for buying Dead Sea souvenirs. I highly recommend taking this 6 hour tour if you are not staying overnight in Dead Sea.

Definitely worth taking this tour if you have the time. Visiting the Jordan River is much more interesting from the Jordan side as opposed to the Israel side since the actual baptism site is in Jordan. Note that you will have a local guide at the Jordan River. The guide was very good, spoke English well, and was very informative.

It’s not Petra, but still worth the trip, especially with its proximity to Amman. We enjoyed our visit.

Jesus’ baptism site, the River Jordan - there was an actual baptism taking place on the Jewish side. Means a lot if you’re from a Christian background.

The tour to Dead Sea was wonderful and it was a great experience I really recommend to anyone who appreciate the natural resources from our earth.

Got to go to a private baptism site so my mom could be baptized. Guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. Car was comfortable and the food delicious
