Arusha

The basics

Coffee production plays an essential role in the economy of Tengeru, and many travelers come here expressly to visit coffee farms where they can learn about and taste local coffee. The village is also the gateway to Lake Duluti in the foothills of Mount Meru, known for its excellent fishing and bird-watching opportunities: the volcanic lake is a great place to go on a canoe trip.
