The basics

The history of Calgary comes alive at Fort Calgary Historic Park, where visitors can dine in the former home of a Canadian Mountie, try on an authentic Mountie uniform, and explore the fort’s extensive riverside grounds where the Elbow and Bow rivers meet. As one of the city’s most important historical attractions, the fort often features as a stop on sightseeing tours around town, whether by Segway or vintage sidecar.
