Crossing the nerve-racking Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a feat for the sure-footed—the narrow 66-foot-long (20-meter-long) swinging span is suspended high above the choppy Atlantic waters, connecting the Northern Irish mainland to Carrick-a-Rede Island. Originally built more than 300 years ago by salmon fishermen—and since rebuilt with sturdier materials—the National Trust–managed footbridge is now traversed by wobbly-kneed travelers who want to soak up the rugged coastal scenery.

Good Day Away
Comfortable coach, excellent driver/ guide, good time at stopping places. Pickup point and drop off points good. A little generous in time waiting for guests at a pickup on two occasions. Not the drivers fault and he was very patient. Lunch options at Dark hedges not good, signs on both toilets said the other was out of order! Food nothing special. Ki

The tour driver was...
The tour driver was great. Informative and intertaining. Beware unless you buy food at the Hedges lunch stop you cannot use the toilets. Staff was rude and manager came to the rescue but felt I had to leave £2 to use them. In awe over the Giants Causeway. Could use 3 hours to walk around. Overall good
