Florida's official aviation museum is on the Sun 'N Fun Aerospace Expo campus near the Lakeland Linder International Airport. You can easily explore the museum from either place or visit on your own—you'll need admission tickets and upgrades for special screenings of events. You can head straight for most of the aircraft in the main building, check out the larger planes in the hangar, or visit the Buehler aircraft restoration center next door.

This part of central Florida isn’t well-connected by public transport—it’s a 20-minute drive to the museum from Lakeland and around 40 minutes from Tampa along mostly Interstate 4.
