Visit Volcano Bay for a day of family fun. Enjoy a variety of water slides, a beach area, a winding river, and other attractions. The highlight of the park is the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, which features 4-person canoes that twist and turn and then plunge through a waterfall.
Visitors can enjoy Volcano Bay on its own or buy multi-day, multi-park tickets and pair a visit with trips to Universal’s other attractions. Volcano Bay issues a wearable device that allows visitors to stand in virtual lines so that you can spend more time exploring the park and less time waiting. You can also buy express passes that allow you to skip the lines entirely for one visit to each ride.

You can bring your own towel or rent one on site.
Some rides have a weight limit; at the top of the ride, a team member will discreetly weigh your group.
You can store small belongings, such as sandals or sunglasses, at ride entrances.
Private cabanas with concierge service are available for an additional fee.

The Puihi of Maku Puihi Round Raft Rides™ are wheelchair accessible, and the aqua coaster has elevator access.
If traveling to Volcano Bay by car, take I-4 to exit 74, then follow the signs to the park. Several area hotels offer shuttle bus service to the park, and a select few provide water taxi service. There is also a dedicated location at the park for rideshare services to pick up and drop off.
Volcano Bay is open all year round, from mid-morning through early evening; exact hours vary. To make the most of your time, arrive early, before the park opens, and prioritize your top-choice rides. The park sees smaller crowds in the winter, when the weather is less conducive to swimming and splashing. Summer is the park’s busiest time of year.
