If you’re coming by car, take I-4 to Universal Studios and follow the signs to the parking areas. To reach the park, you’ll need to walk through Universal Citywalk, a free shopping and food plaza. If you have a park-to-park ticket, you can also access Universal Studios Florida via the Hogwarts Express, which connects the park to Islands of Adventure.
To avoid the biggest crowds, plan your visit when schools are in session. Spring break, summer vacation, and the winter holidays can get very busy. Since many of Universal Studios’ attractions are indoors, it’s one of Orlando’s best rainy-day parks.
If the park’s regular lineup of entertainment isn’t enough, visit during one of several special events throughout the year. Halloween Horror Nights are among the most popular, transforming the park into a series of mazes and haunted houses geared toward adults. Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando in February is another adult favorite. The Macy’s Holiday Parade is a more kid-friendly affair and runs throughout the holiday season.
