Gibbs Cay Tours and Tickets

This was the best excursion! It was easy to book, communicated well, and was safe and organized. It was split up into smaller groups so we weren’t in a crowd. The island was beautiful and not overcrowded, we got an up close stingray encounter and up close conch encounter, and enjoyed the beautiful water. The service was excellent! We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this excursion, it truly was a wonderful experience.

Wonderful trip with great guide and captain - my daughters and I had a blast. Glad we went with a small group as the giant tours through other outfits looked like a nightmare.

If you are new to cruising, don't hesitate booking an excursion separate from the ship / cruise line if booking this one! Don't be nervous. This family owned company is awesome! Very professional and you WILL be back to the boat in plenty of time. They monitor each ship's schedule. Don't stress over the 5-10 min walk down the beach. It's more like 5 min and staff are along the beach directing you, too. Finding the green house is EASY. The owner, the Captain (J.J.) and the co-capt. (Clay) were awesome. J.J. and Clay were great tour guides with lots of knowledge. It was educational and fun! (I have to disguise learning for my kids. Lol.) Snorkling by the Amazing Wall was very safe & beautiful. Clay fed the fish, and they came right up to him. He let those interested do the same. He allowed my teens to jump off the boat and flip off the boat to have a little fun. (It is PLENTY deep and safe.) J.J. even joined in with my youngest to give him some extra courage to do the same as his siblings. We enjoyed playing with the sting rays as it was tons of fun. We learned all about the reef, sting rays and conchs, too. We were able to see the conchs live and then watch the process for making salad. Tons of fun. I definitely give this tour the most possible stars plus one more!

This was a great trip - intimate compared to the cruise ship and large boat experience. The crew dove for conch, taught us about them, prepared a conch salad (which was great), and spent good amount of time teaching us about the stingrays. They answered any questions and let us hold one. All done with respect for nature. The only negative for us (having a special needs son) was the size of the boat. It was good for most people…he could not go with us. All said and done, a great trip and experience - far better than the big tours that spend 20-30 mins on the Cay, we were there for an hour.
