Swim and snorkel with stingrays in the warm shallow waters around Gibbs Cay, a beautiful and uninhabited 7-acre (2.8-hectare) island. The best place in the Turks and Caicos to see and interact with southern stingrays, Gibbs Cay also features pristine, white-sand beaches, a scenic shoreline, and a hill with sea oats at its center.

This was our first...
This was our first excursion that we haven't booked with the cruiseline and it was fantastic. The crew was awesome and caught a sting ray for us to touch and interact with and dove and got the conch shell and we had conch salad. When we go back, we will do this excursion again.

Best excursion ever!
This is a don’t miss opportunity! Love the warm welcome from Faith and Ed when we checked in. JJ and Vasco captained our boat. They were great hosts, keeping us entertained, and acting as a trove of knowledge about the island, sea life, and even food recommendations! We learned so much about the stingrays and conch. It was fun to watch JJ dive for conch. None of us were brave enough to join him free diving 25-30 feet for the conch. He did bring up starfish and sand dollars for us to see as well. Watching them make the conch ceviche was fun and tasted delicious. Gibbs Cay has breathtaking beauty with the most perfect waves and sand for kids to play in; spending time with the sting rays was the bonus! The one thing that impressed me the most was the care JJ and Vasco showed us. My kids were anxious on the boat ride to Gibbs Cay and another fellow passenger wasn’t feeling well. On the return trip, they made a point to try navigate the boat so it rocked way less than it did on the ride out. I’ve been on a lot of boat excursions and this was the first time any boat captain took note of our comfort level during the ride. Hats off to JJ and Vasco for making this one of our most favorite memories of this trip.
