Practical Info
Te Mata Peak is about 35 minutes from downtown Napier and 20 minutes from Hastings by car. All the hiking trails have steep sections, and the longest trail takes about 2.5 hours round trip. There are no facilities within the park, but ample parking at the summit lookout for those who want to drive to the top.
Beautiful and relaxing tour!
Relaxed tour with informative commentary regarding the town. Learned and have seen so much of the beautiful Napier.
The wine tasting plus the cheese and crackers at Askerne was a pleasant experience. Ross even took us to his beautiful home and got to meet his dogs!
Even the Feijoa was a nice little surprise! Met many amazing people on this tour as well. Thank you Ross for a beautiful tour of Napier.
