Six Flags Great America Tours and Tickets

With upwards of more than three million visitors per year, Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois has been delighting park-goers for decades. Ten themed sections, including areas created just for children, an IMAX theater, and a large water park offer a variety of rides, thrills, and immersive experiences. In fact, there are over 100 different roller coasters to choose from alone.

The park’s highlight for many is its most extreme roller coaster: The Raging Bull. Reaching speeds of up to 74 miles per hour and up to heights past 200 feet, vertical drops and fast twists and turns make this one of the most thrilling rides imaginable. If some of the country’s biggest roller coasters are a bit much for you, there are dozens of smaller rides appropriate for all heights as well. In addition to the various themed rides and zones of the park, there is live entertainment available throughout the day.
