MAPS is located in Ipoh, in Perak, about a 2-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur or Penang. Take the Jelapang Toll exit. There are two large parking lots on-site with free parking. By public transport, take the ETS train to Ipoh Railway Station or the bus to Ipoh Amanjaya bus terminal. The closest airport is Ipoh, about 15 kilometers (9 miles), or a 20-minute car ride, away.
On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, the park is open from afternoon to late evening. On Fridays through Sundays and public and school holidays, the park is open from morning to late evening. The park is closed Wednesday.
