Line up, then take your seat in the revolving platform, looking out through the glass. The tower spins slowly as it ascends, offering 360-degree views across Melaka Old Town and newer landmarks. After a few rotations, it slowly returns to ground level, where you disembark.

The Taming Sari Tower stands in the heart of historic Melaka, about five minutes’ walk south of the Stadthuys off Jalan Merdeka. Melaka Old Town is compact and reasonably flat, and most travelers will find it easy to link up the key attractions on foot. If not, there are always the colorful 3-wheelers known as trishaws.
The Taming Sari Tower is open from midmorning until late in the evening, seven days a week. Like most Melaka attractions, it’s best to visit during the working week rather than on weekends or public holidays. Sunset can be particularly charming, but visit early in the day if speed is a priority.
Taming Sari Tower offers a bird’s-eye view of Melaka’s historic quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Landmarks that stand out from the air include: the Melaka River, the Maritime Museum (an oversize replica of a Portuguese galleon), and the Stadthuys (a red building that was the seat of government under Dutch colonial rule).
