This special route combination is by a wide margin the least-used route on Kilimanjaro, getting you far away from other hikers. The trailhead is at high elevation, and thus we start slow and easy on this route. The trail begins on the Shira Plateau, and the hike across the plateau is said to be one of the most stunningly beautiful hikes in Africa.

Marangu route, Nickname "Coca-Cola" route, is the oldest, most well established route on Kilimanjaro. This is the only route which offers sleeping huts in dormitory style accommodations in lieu of camping.There are 60 bunk beds each at Mandara and Kibo Huts, and 120 bunk beds at Horombo Hut.Guests are supplied with mattresses and pillows, but sleeping bags are still required.The huts have communal dining halls and basic washrooms, ranging from flushing toilets and running water at the lower huts to long drop toilets and buckets of water at Kibo Hut.Many favor Marangu because it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain, given its gradual slope and direct path. However the short time frame of the route makes altitude acclimatization fairly difficult. The route approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the southeast. Marangu is unfortunately less scenic than the other routes because the ascent and descent are along the same path. It is also the most crowded route for that reason.

The Lemosho route approaches Kilimanjaro through forest and moorland from the west, crossing the caldera of Shira volcano and exploring the rock formations of the plateau, before traversing beneath the Southern ice fields of Kibo. We make our final ascent by the Barafu route. There are often stunning views of Kibo in the sharp light of morning and early evening.Lemosho Route believed to have 96% summit success rate. Many tourists prefer this route because its easy to climb and guests are accommodated in huts in the style of dormitories. The route takes a minimum of five days but recommended to do six days climb to increase chances to make to the top easily. Led by professional climbing crews, you'll acclimatize with ease along this popular climbing route while crossing diverse terrain from rainforests to arctic desert. You'll be comfortable throughout the experience with porters carrying equipment, kitchen team cooking, and accommodation in wooden huts provided.
