Beginner trails and most amenities like a rental shop, dining, and slopeside lodging are located near the base village in Hunter East, while lifts that service more advanced terrain are located on Hunter North and West. Some include equipment rental packages and lift tickets. When the snow melts, summertime activities include hiking, horseback riding, golf, Jeep tours, and a zipline course.
Hunter Mountain is located in upstate New York, roughly 55 miles (90 kilometers) from Albany and 125 miles (200 kilometers) from New York City.
