Glen-Forest Tourist Park is open from morning to afternoon, seven days a week, closing only on Christmas Day. At its liveliest on weekends and Australian school holidays, the park is rarely very busy. It’s worth visiting earlier in the day to beat the heat over the South Australian summer (December to February).

A popular choice for Port Lincoln birthday celebrations, Glen Forest Tourist Park offers a wealth of animal encounters. Kids are welcome to pat and cuddle baby farm animals, including rabbits, while children and adults alike can buy animal feed and hand-feed the kangaroos that roam the 120-acre (49-hectare) farm.
