Spend the day swimming in a mix of fresh and saltwater locations including the Piula Cave Pool, Sauniatu Waterfall, Lalomanu Beach, To Sua Ocean Trench and Togitogiga Waterfall. Admire the beautiful island scenery throughout the day and stop at the island’s tallest waterfall, Papapapatai, before heading back to Apia.

Savai’i is 80 kilometres (50 miles) long and 40km (25 miles) wide, with the dormant volcano Mt Silisili its highest peak at 1,858 metres (6,095 feet). The island’s main town and arrival point for ferries from Upolu is Salelologa in the southeast, accessible by the main road that encircles the island. Savai’i’s attractions include high waterfalls, caves and blowholes, and particularly the dramatic Saleaula lava fields and huge lava tubes that formed when Mt Matavanu erupted in the early 20th Century.

Finish off the day with a quick stop at the Salelologa market before catching the 2pm ferry back to Upolu.

A visit to the local markets will give visitors an insight into the backbone of our local farmers produce and source of earning an income to support their families. A visit to Samoa's local chocolate making factory producing one of Samoa's premium chocolates which is sold around the region/world. Guests will also be treated to an experience of elei (printing) making which incorporates the traditional designs into beautiful lavalava's (sarongs) dresses and formal shirts for men. A visit to the Aleisa Coffee plantation will give you an opportunity to taste and see how a local coffee producer makes quality beans and coffee. This tour guarantees and immersion into an experience of some of our local vendors and how they are supporting families and communities through the products they manufacture.
