Fun experience

Great train trip - conductor was full of information and stories! Adventure class was very comfortable, I was happy we didn't pay for the upgrade. In case you're worried about buying these tickets here instead of from the official railroad site, don't be - they worked fine.

Great views.

The views from the large windows in the main carriage and the spectacular panorama views from the observation deck. The seats were roomy and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite. The commentary was informative and fun.

Wide Eyed Alaska

Beautiful and relaxing way to travel in Alaska. Got to sit back and take it all in. The food menu was decent and they have vegan and gluten free options for those concerned. The tour director was helpful in making sure people had the opportunity to see some of the big sights along the way.

Great Experience!

My sister and I caught the train from Fairbanks to Anchorage as a more scenic way to head south. It was very seamless booking and then transacting with our voucher - no issues at all! The train was clean, the food served (not included) as pretty good and you can't beat the scenery! There was intermittent commentary which was perfect - not too much, but tidbits along the way... Whilst this was a long trip (12 hours), I'm really glad we did it! So much more scenic than a flight!

Wonderful experience

Even though we didn't see any Alaskan wildlife from the train, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking!! Picturesque views of the mountains, glaciers, and rivers were beyond my expectations.

Excellent staff and facilities. Highly motivated and very helpful and Kind. The only disappointment was the parking fee

Everything was excellent until I went to my car arcross from the Railroad Depot and found a notice of a charge for $47 for parking on private property. I would have paid upon entering and I did not notice a post of daily charges where I parked.
