The Basics

Admission tickets to King’s College include self-guided access to the Chapel—home to the world’s largest fan vaulted ceiling—and the expansive grounds, but all other buildings are off-limits to the general public.

To gain a deeper understanding of King’s College history, visit as part of a student- or graduate-led tour, or opt for an excursion which includes stops at other Cambridge colleges such as Pembroke. Meanwhile, time-pressed travelers can combine Cambridge city tours with visits to King’s College or explore both Oxford University and Cambridge University in one day.
