The basics

Famous for its appearances on the History Channel’s “Pawn Stars” TV show, Toy Shack is located near the Fremont Street Experience, a dazzling stretch of street-turned-outdoor mall covered in a canopy of lights and spans this part of downtown Las Vegas. If you’re into collectors’ items, consider joining a guided tour to visit similar stops, such as the Shelby American Museum, Ultimate Sports Cards, and Memorabilia. Reality TV-themed tours in Vegas include a stop at the store and several other well-known filming locations from shows such as Tanked, American Restoration, and more.

When to get there

The best time to visit Toy Shack is on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. when the store is usually less busy. When collector and fan conventions like LVL UP EXPO are in town, the store can experience a massive influx of customers, so keep that in mind when planning your visit.
