In the Kunstareal district of Munich, the Old Pinakothek is located at Barer Strasse 27. To get there, take the U-Bahn to Königsplatz, Theresienstrasse, or Odeonsplatz, or take the tram to Pinakotheken. Parking is not available at the museum.
The museum is open Tuesday–Sunday, and closed Mondays. On Sundays, there's a reduced entry fee of 1 euro. For the most peaceful experience, visit during the morning hours on a weekday.
